OW Side Misson: Operation Mutant Takedown

With the war between the G.U and the Iron Forces still at hand, the Union had to also deal with other issue in their surrounding occupation, and that was the recently destroyed city of Shregnia. A bomb experiment had went awry and detonated, a biological experiment nearby was caught in the crossfire and mixed in with the bombs deadly radiation and not only killed everything in its radius, but also horribly mutated those who survived. Fortunately, the war let up just a little bit for the Moonhound Base to issue a special mission to Blackbird company 2nd platoon. This mission was to eradicate all mutated lifeforms in Shregnia and also locate any of the experiments' plans so as to stop the same disaster from happening again. Unfortunately, the company's leader, Sergeant major NAOMI-Marine unit was ordered to stay and help the war effort. Handpicked for the eradication mission were Fal, Steven Galaxyburst, and four other human Marines names George, Ray, Mike and Joe.

The transport chopper lands just outside the city ruins.

Mike: Alright boys, let's get in there and kick some mutated ass. *jumps down and takes out his assault rifle*
Joe: Let's hope we can get out alive anyway. *follows Mike, taking out a grenade launcher*
Ray: Don't get all jumpy in your panties, Mike. This mission's gotta be dangerous, so we'll need to stay close. *gets out a sniper rifle*

Steven:Listen up grunts. We a job to do.

Fal jumps down behind the three humans, the hilt of his energy sword in his left hand and his HSMG in the right. Taking quick looks around to see nothing yet, he follows the three.
Fal: Shut up, human...

George: Why did this guy come along, again?
Mike: Ah quit you boys' whining. Less the radiation got to you and mutated you all into big giant pussies. Now let's go! *runs on ahead*
Ray: I said stay close! Fuuuck.

Steven:Fal Why are we with these guys?*Plasma rifle at the ready.*

Fal: *Sighs and tightens his grip on his HSMG before turning to Ray* Should we just let him get ambushed and kill the mutants that come to eat him or go after the dumb human?

Ray: No time now. *looks through the sniper scope and fires a shot, still looking through the scope and moving a controller under the barrel until an explosion resounds from within the city* Alright. Let's get moving. *runs ahead*

Steven:So Ray.How do you think they were mutated?

Fal: If you read the mission details, you'd know that it was a bomb experiment that failed.

Ray: No time to ask those kinds of questions! We gotta get to the arrogant asshole you'd call Mike!
A large muscular red mutated creature bursts through the window of a ruined building and onto Ray.

Ray: AH! Help! *struggles to fight it off*

Fal shouts out in slight surprise before immediately firing his HSMG at the mutant.

Steven shoots it's head clear off it's shoulders.

Ray gets up and nods to them before charging off and the group gets to Mike's decapitated and limbless body.

Ray: Agh. Too late.
Joe: We didn't need a crazy son of a bitch like him ruining our mission anyway. He was nothing but a hindrance. Let's get moving.

Steven:Stupid bastard.*Keeps the group moving*

Fal: Agreed...
As the others walk off, Fal kneels down to Mike's body and pulls the pin off of one of his grenades. The sangheilian catches up with the others as the explosive goes off.

Steven:We may run into worse than that.

Fal: Now we won't have to fear any possibility of that idiot somehow coming back. Let's get going....

Steven:Right.
