Lore: 3boot(it's like the Reboot, but 2 more!)

Lucy: Meowwwww.... *crawls out of the tent with her hat lobsided on her head* I think I hurt my shoulder somewhere.

Chris walks over and helps her up.
Chris:Hi. What brings you here?

Layla: Are you...like a cat person?

Chris:She's a nekomimi.

Lucy: I am not! I'm a proud Naori knight mage from Esterloch! I'm here on a trip.

Chris:How was I supposed to know?

Layla gets up, and goes over to Lucy's camel, and pats it on the neck, and listens to its grunts and wheezes.

Layla: Hm. I think you pushed this dromedary too hard...Why were you in such a hurry?

Lucy: I wanted rare treasure....And fish! I haven't eaten any single juicy tender fish since I started this trip! Nothing will ever satisfy me, meow!

Layla: Hm. There may be a few scraps of food around this camp somewhere. It was a camp for bandits, until they captured Buriza and I, and then Chris came in as a bear and killed everyone here.

Marcus:I have some salmon in my pack. It's Crush's favorite.

Lucy: Salmooooon! Gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme!

Chris gives her a whole salmon.
Chris:I had a friend enchant my pack to have a pocket to keep fish fresh.

Layla: So why were you traveling in the desert?

Lucy: yes! *grabs the salmon and gnaws on it ecstatically* Mmmmmm.... I vas traverring fer adventure. Ah curtain say...*gulps Any longer. It was boring. *goes back to gnawing the fish*

Layla: "Boring"? The desert holds no charm for you? *focuses on Lucy's ears and tail* Wow...I have never seen a Naori before. I must say I ...I really admire your ears and tail!

Lucy: Actually, the desert's a lot better than my homeland. Just...really empty. But fun! ^ ^ And thanks! *swings her tail*

Layla: Actually, we Dal'Virenni revere cats as divine creatures. If you were to travel to one of our cities, you would be given a warm welcome. ^^

Lucy: Would I get lots and lots of fish?

Layla: I suppose. Were you on your way to one of our cities?

Lucy: I was trying to find one. I was hoping the horse thingy would know where one was.

Layla: That's a camel. And no, I think it is from the human settlements on the eastern side of the desert.

Chris:Why did you leave Layla?

Layla: ..*sits back down, and stares into the fire* I was...kind of forced to. See, I was in the Alumcury, and I could not put thoughts of who my parents might be out of my mind. So I left the Alumcury to go searching for them, but I could not find any traces of them in the city. The only link to them is this. *pulls out a golden pendant, with strange markings starting from the center, and going out in a spiral* I've had it my whole life. Anyway, some officials from the Alumcury were sent to go find me and bring me back, forcefully. I fled, and I kept fleeing until I found myself here.

Lucy: Ah. Sounds too bad. Want me to pet you?

Layla: I do not think that would help me find my parents.....but I will not stop you.
