Lore Reboot Again: World Demon War

Gentle gets a text from Marcus saying he and Izzy are at the front gate.

Drake: If only Fierce were...No, she'd turn the whole beach into glass...Shit... What should I do then? I can't even more my hand to conjure my lance.

Kara: Crap, where'd he go?
(Julio jumps up right by Kara, then uppercuts her and sends her to the ground)
Julio: Haha! You may as well give up now. There is no defeating me!
Kara: *gets up, and wipes away a stream of blood from her mouth, then looks past Julio at the ocean* Hmm...

Izzy:Does she usually take this long?

Auri: Gentle! *walks up to her with her phone* You left your phone in the living room.
Gentle; Oh, thank, Auri.

Drake: Uh...Do your best, Kara. I believe in you! *struggles mroe* God friggin'...

Kara: *gets up shakily*
Julio: What's this? Still have some fight in you?
Kara: Take this! *breathes deeply, and rushes at Julio with a ki-empowered fist*
(Julio quickly sinks into the sand again to avoid the attack)
Kara: Heh. Don't worry, Drake. I've already won.

Drake: Okay, can you get me out of here then?

Marcus: I hope she lets us in.

Kara: Just a moment...*studies the sand around her with her supersense, and when she sees the individual grains of sand moving around where Julio's about to come up, she jumps on the side of that position opposite the ocean, and charges a bunch of ki into her fists*
(when Julio surfaces, Kara immediately hits Julio with a concentrated ki blast at point-blank range, and knocks him into the waters)
Julio: Ah! What the-?! How could you tell where I would surface?!
Kara: It's simple. I'm just better than you. Now get the hell out of here before I beat the crap out of you!
Julio: y-yes! Thanks! *gets up and runs away*
(Kara goes over to Drake, and ki-punches the sand tomb he's in, shattering it)
Kara: You okay? *helps him up*

Drake: *hugs her tightly* Oh thank you, thank you, thank you! Thank you so much, Kara! I could just kiss you! ^ ^

Kara: I...er...uh...um...I uh...s-sure..*starts sweating and shifting around nervously* So you seem ok! ^///^ That's good news!

Drake: Yeah, I seem okay. Feel okay. If not sandy. *lets go of Kara*

Kara: We should head back to the house, then. So you can get washed up and stuff. Also because I think I bit my lip...*wipes a bit more blood away from her mouth*

Drake: Okay then. Yeah, let's do that.

Gentle: Oh, someone texted me saying they were at the gate.
Auri: That's Mark's number. Should maybe let him in.
Gentle: Eh? Go get it then. I'm busy still.
Auri: K. *leaves the room they're in*

Marcus: Hi Auri.*picking up the Panther cub,*
Izzy: Hello Auri.

Auri: Hello you two. Welcome to my new home, I guess. Well, not really as it's been in our family, but my new residence, I suppose.

Izzy: It's lovely. One day I wanna have a private Island Just for me and my husband,
Marcus: That would be neat. Mind if we stay here a while? the Demons got our places too.

Auri: I guess not. We're still moving in ourselves, though.

Izzy: I can help there, Need anything moved?

Kara: Drake do...do you mind if I hold onto you while we walk back? I used huge amounts of ki when I defeated Julio, and it really wore me out...

Drake: Oh, I don't mind it, Kara. Go ahead and hold onto me. *puts his arm around her*

Auri: Well we have professionals helping right now...

Marcus: She's really strong though.

Kara: T-thanks! *puts her arm around Drake, and leans on him as they walk* I hope we don't see Julio again...he was really weird...

Drake: Yeah, he was weird. *starts walking with her* I guess he was a squatter here or something.

(back at the beach house)
Kara: Hey, at least the place wasn't blown up by demons or something. Right? Heh...
