Nicole: I'm honestly not sure about that.

Lia: Well there's only one way to find out! *stands up and puts on the huge backpack* You gonna get dressed or what?

Nicole: Yeah, of course. *Starts to get dressed*

Lia: How bad could this ash be, anyway?
Later, walking along Route 113
Lia: *coughs* This is literally the worst it could EVER be! I'm about to die! >3>

Nicole: Yeah, I probably figured... *Ties a handkerchief around her mouth and nose before handing another one to Lia* Here.

Lia: My hero! *ties the handkerchief around her mouth, and hugs Nicole's arm as they walk* So what do- *trips and falls into a big ash pit* ACK!

Nicole: You okay, Lia? *Reaches down to help her up*

A birdlike screech is heard as a skarmory swoops down and buzzes Nicole's head, then circles back and goes in for a steel wing attack
Lia: Ah! Nicole watch out!

Nicole: What's it attacking us for?! *Sends out Torch* Use a Blaze Kick, Torch. Stop it's attack
Torch screeches as it kicks the Skarmory as it closes in.

The Skarmory dodges, then hits Torch with an aerial ace, attacking it swiftly from above, then flies back up

Nicole: Damn, we missed. Hit it when it comes back around. *Uses a super potion on Torch*

the Skarmory flies toward Torch again, but stops short and shoots razor-like wind at Torch

Torch dodges the razor wind and smacks a flaming talon into the Skarmory's face.
Nicole: I think it's weak enough now, let's find out! *Tosses a Great Ball at the Skarmory*

The metal bird smacks the pokeball away, and darts around in the air, upping its own agility, then flies around Torch rapidly, taking pot shots with wing attacks
Lia: Woah, this dude is tough!

Nicole: Grr.... Keep weakening it, Torch! Use an Ember!
Torch looks at her in confusion before spitting out several small fireballs at the Skarmory.

Some of the embers hit, but do little to distract the Skarmory, still performing aerial aces on Torch
