New Lore

It is mid day and a large crowd of people surround a large building designated as a place of mourning over those who had lost their lives fighting against the strange monsters that had began appearing on the planet about a month or two ago. The sun is shrouded in clouds, appropriately darkening the land below as the building opens for mourning. Admittance is steady and the lines formed are constantly moving until finally every one has entered to pay their respects to loved ones. Finally, everyone including the protagonists of our story have entered and are in search of one whom all believe is deceased.

Faye: Zenu....Where is Zenu? *looks over all of the coffins, tearing up* Zenu's not here. Where could he have gone? Are you sure he's dead?
Soldier: Ma'am, we're sorry, but it seems your brother is MIA and quite possibly also KIA too. We'll just never know. We're deeply sorry for your loss.

Kazira: Ugh, this is such bullshit. Why did I even bother coming here? *leaves the building* Sheesh.

Love approaches Faye from behind and puts her hand on his shoulder, sadness in her eyes for the first time.
Love: Faye, I'm sorry about your brother, but there's nothing else we can do.

Faye: He's gotta be out there somewhere. he's tougher than any of these guys here. *cries* Let's go home, Love. *sobs*

Love nods as she heads out with her best friend.
Love: I'm sure he is Faye, and I'm sure we'll find him. Will a hug help cheer you up, Faye?

Faye: I'm not sure, Love. *sighs* Why did he have to do that?

Love: I'm not sure Faye, but we'll know when we find him again. *Hugs Faye*

Faye: OK, Love. Let's go home now.

Kazira: What a load of garbage. *sighs* What am I gonna do? People are just that stupid.

Love nods as she heads home with Faye.

Azhra leans next to a wall nearby next to Jake, observing those entering and leaving and their emotional states.

Azhra:Wow...I really don't get people sometimes. Why do they look for bad news like that?
Jake:No, you're looking at it the wrong way, they're going there because they want to be sure the sadness they're ready to express is valid. They of course hope their friend or relative isn't dead...but that's just how life is sometimes.
Azhra:Weird.
Jake:So, how was your 1000 year nap? ^ ^u
Azhra:Horrible. My muscles were tearing me apart. I felt like I was hit by a freight train. >,> The least you could've done was remember where my house was and look for me.
Jake:I kind of forgot....^ ^u Sorry..

Marcus:That poor girl.

Sera: Sure are a lot of women here today. I was expecting half and half.

Love: So any plans on how we're going to find your brother, Faye?

Faye: Find him ourselves. We'll go outside beyond the dome walls.

Jake:Oh hi Sera! ^ ^ So...why would you expect half and half when the husbands are most likely the ones dead?.?

Marcus:I know Sera. What do you think we should do?

Sera: I figured there would have at least been a lot of men to come to the service. Guess I can't always be right. You seen my kid? He split from me when we went in.

Love: Should we ask people to help us? I'm sure nobody could say no to two pretty girls like us. ^^

Faye: I was planning on going to get fitted for armor.

Jake:Not really.
Azhra:Pretty sure I did. He left a while back. Didn't seem sad though, guess he doesn't care for this kind of stuff.

Love: Alright, you can do that then.

Marcus:Gray's back? When did that happen?

Jake:No, Gray isn't back, your other kid. >,>
Azher:Maybe he has Alzheimer's?

Sera: Well he's never really given much of a damn about anything.
Kazira: Let's go, mom. I'm bored.
