Lore Reboot: The Sequel

Auri: *looks at her engagement ring on her finger* You sure you wanna marry me, Marcus? You might be forced from your forest to live with me, you know. My job is important.

Zera:*drinks from a flask*....
Raiya:I thought you'd changed with the way you handled yourself in public and when escorting me to political conferences. I can't believe how great of an actor you are.
Zera:Oh yeah. When no one was looking I was drowning in alcohol, believe me.

Marcus:I know Auri But It's worth it.

Gentle: Of course you did. *hugs Zera's arm*

~Royal palace~

Mellow goes up to a woman in her mid-thirties seating in a very high back throne with a long flowing purple gown, slit at the chest to reveal her large cleavage. She was blong with her hair tied into an awesome and magnificent ponytail and was sitting in a rather bored posture.

Mellow: Greetings, your majesty.
QUeen: Oh, didn't expect you to be here.
Mellow: Your majesty, if I may be so polite, may I please go on a journey with some of my friends and new fiancee?
Queen: Fiancee?
Mellow: Yes, I am to marry the beautiful grand magus of the Lazuli people.
Queen: Her? Huh. Well alright, I'll see if I can find another Lord to fill in for you.
Mellow: I'm perfectly happy handling your foreign affairs while on the journey by way of messenger hawks.
Queen: Hm? Dedicated. I love that in a man. Alright, you're free to go.
Mellow: Thank you very much. *leaves*

Zera:^ ^ *leans against Gentle* ....oh hey. I think I see Mellow coming around.
Raiya:Ah, good. I can't wait to get going. Hopefully no sea monsters will attack us this time around.

Mellow: The queen seemed quite bored.
Gentle: She's always that way. But she has good intentions.
Mellow: I don't know. I've always known her father King Richard the third. It's a shame he died just last year.

Zera:Yep, sounds like it. *boards the ferry with his stuff and Raiya follows*

So after everyone boards the ferry there's a nice travel sequence and eventually they all reach Rising Sun. Finally.

Raiya:Ah, that trip really went by smoothly.
Zera:Yeah. Makes me a little nervous. We're long overdue for something bad to happen...

Mellow: nothing bad is good.
Gentle; You always say that. Let's go see Fierce and jenghas! Hit up her place and drink some sake.
Mellow: Let's just visit her.

Marcus:Don't jinx us guys.

Zera:Yeah, sake. ^ ^ I missed that stuff. *starts heading to the estate, with Raiya following*
Raiya:Not much has changed here, it seems.

Mellow: Looks like the tradition still holds strong here.
Gentle: Yeah. Kinda nice that way.

Marcus:It is nice.

(a small child, with black hair arranged in a short ponytail, in a red kimono runs form the estate, then stops when she sees the group approaching)
Akane: .......Intruders! *starts running back to the doors* Daddy daddy daddy daddy daddy!
(Jenghas, in casual robes I guess, exits the estate, and picks up Akane as she runs up to him, hugging her tightly)
Jenghas: And what do these intruders look like, huh? *sees Zera, Raiya, and the rest* ...woah. By the gods! Hey guys!

Mellow: Hello! *waves to Jenghas*
Auri: Hey, is that Fierce's kid?
Gentle: She's adorable.

Zera:*lethargically waves as he approaches*....
Raiya:Hey Jenghas! ^ ^

Jenghas: OH, Come on! Come in, come in! *opens the door to the inside, and sets down Akane*
(Akane then runs inside yelling for Fierce)
Akane: Mommy mommy, there's intruders!

Marcus:*follows him in with the rest* So what's new?

Fierce: Intruders you say? But judging by what I heard from your father, they sound friendly. *tousles Akane's hair and smiles warmly at her before going to Jenghas* My, how nice to see you all.
Gentle: Please tell me you didn't get bigger than me.
Fierce: Well since I had Akane, I have grown at least 20 inches.
Gentle: Awww, no fair, you're still bigger. *hangs her head*

Jenghas: Well, after six years, I've finally cleared my name here. With Fierce's help, of course. So I'm no longer public enemy number one! Yeah!
(Akane nervously hides behind Fierce, grasping her kimono tight, while poking her head around her, watching the group)

Raiya:Oh, that's great news Jenghas.
Zera:Yes, good news...um...so maybe you're wondering why most of the group's back together again-
Raiya:Me and Mellow are getting married soon! ^ ^
Zera:...not what I was going to say. Anyway, me and Raiya wanted to gather up the group and go adventuring again. ^ ^ Politics...although Raiya is strong in the field...is, quite frankly, kind of boring.

Marcus:Your daughter is adorable Fierce.

Jenghas: That's awesome! *hugs Raiya and Mellow both, lifting them up slightly* I'm so happy for you guys! *sets them down* So what's the quest?

Zera:It's strange, we've found no trouble so far, nothing to fight...so really, it's just about all this wedding bullshit right now.

Fierce: Well...We have a daughter to look after. We couldn't possibly endanger her.
Gentle: Well Jenghas can come with us and you can stay here.

Raiya:Well I wouldn't want Fierce to miss out...maybe we could have the wedding in Rising Sun?.?
Zera:Is the wedding all you can think about?
Raiya:....yes. ^ ^u
