Big Trouble in Little Kalos

Mali: You sure he's not gonna catch my scent? I haven't showered in a few days...

Mark:It should work. I mean Fang is a dog like Pokemon.

Mali: *lifts up her arm and sniffs her armpit* Oh...I'll just stand downwind of him then. Lead on!

Nick groans one last time before standing back up straight, yet several feet away from his rather violent Golett.
Nick: Yeah, lead the way.

Mark leads the way follow Fang who's picked up the thief.
Mark:He's go it.

(Mark's Fang leads them deeper into the abandoned base, past old machines and abandoned projects. Walking down a corridor, they activate a trap! Metal bars rise from the floor on either side of the team, closing them off)
Malika: What's going on?!

Nick: Dammit, who's out there?!
He starts to shake the bars, less for trying to pull them out and more for making noise to draw whoever captured them out.

(a few voltorb roll up to the outside of the cage from the darkness, and out steps the unknown assailant)
???: You could have just forgotten about your Pokemon and been on your way. You could have lived.

Nick: Fuck that and fuck you! I am not abandoning my Charmanders.

Mali: Why'd you even take them, anyway?
???: You've no idea, do you? Twin Pokemon don't come around every day. There's a special...power to them. Kids like you could never understand that kind of power. I'm taking them to some people who do. *turns, and walks away* Voltorbs, count to ten, then self-destruct.

Nick: Oh shit.....Shit! Ah!!
He holds his Golett up in front of them all, hoping desperately to use it as a shield of sorts to protect them.

Mali: Nick, make your Golett earthquake our way out of here!

Nick: He doesn't know that! Aaah! Protect us Gipsy! >,< *Holds it out further in front of them*

Mali: Okay. I'm gonna do something stupid. Wailmer! *calls out her wailmer* Use rollout, smash these bars!
(her Wailmer rolls around the cage, getting faster and faster, then smashes right into some of the bars, but gets electrocuted by the charged bars)
Mali: No! They must be electrified!

Nick: Just....just let them explode! I have a really stupid idea for getting us out of here.

Mali: Hmm...okay, I trust you.
(the voltorbs finish counting down, and they each explode at once)

After the explosion, Nick pokes his head out from behind their "Gipsy shield".
Nick: ....Is it safe?

Malika: *covered in scrapes and abrasions from not being totally covered by Gipsy, while clutching onto Nick* Ow...nice plan, Nick...

Nick: Are you okay Mali?
He sets down Gipsy, who is completely untouched by the explosions, to look over her, Amy and Mark

Mali: Yeah...just warn me when you do decide to be stupid like that...*she looks at the blasted remains of the bars* Well, looks like the cage is busted now. Let's go after that jerk!

Nick: Right. Good job with protecting us, Gipsy. ^^
The Golett looks at him and goes for another gut punch, only for him to take several steps back so that Gipsy would only hit the air.
Nick: Definitely going to need to train that out of him.... >.>
Regardless of his rather violent Golett, Nick grabs both it and Mali to chase after the guy.

(Malika, blushing slightly from Nick grabbing him, runs along regardless. They run into a large room full of broken energy conduits, where they find their mystery assailant tinkering at a table, with his back to them)
Malika: *whispering* There he is...what should we do?

Nick: *Whispering quietly* Attack him? He has his guard down, right? This could be our chance.

Mali: Right. Tell Gipsy to pretend that he's you, so he beats him up!

Nick nods and throws Gipsy at the mysterious man, hitting him in the back and the Golett punches him.
