Dragons: Adventures in Halfbark

Mangus:It's obviously a tidal class. Bewildering.

Kara: *scratches her head* I dunno, he didn't really seem to use his wings. What about Ymir-Tusk?

Magnus:Bewilderbeast. That seems fitting.

Kara: What do you mean? I didn't find it very bewildering...

Magnus:It just feels right to me.

Eira: Nah, that'd never catch on....

Magnus:We shall see.*Adds what he saw to his field guide.*

(Five years later, Kara and Eira are riding on Thunderthorn, gently cruising along a cliff face of the western end of Halfbark.)
Kara: *holding on tightly to Eira, and scanning the rocky wall* I can't see any Cliffblooms! Damn...alright, let's head to the next cliff face, I need to find three of those flowers to cure Typhoon's fever!

Eira: Alright. You heard her Thunderthorn, next cliff.
The skrill roars in acknowledgement as he flies onward to the next cliff.

Kara: There's some! *leaps off the cliff, brandishing a pair of climbing spikes, clings onto the rock face, collects a few cliffbloom flowers* Hey Eira, catch! *jumps off the cliff, getting into a diving position and barreling toward the waters below*

Eira steers Thunderthorn into a diving position, reaching out to grab Kara and pull her onto the skrill's saddle.

(Kara climbs up onto the saddle, and hugs Eira tightly)
Kara: Good catch! ^^ Hey, you know I've seen how fast a skrill can go, but..I've never ridden one going that fast.

Eira: *Smiles* Yeah well, that was my first time actually catching someone jumping off of a cliff, so I guess there's a first time for everything. ^^

Kara: C-can we go that fast, please? I mean, Typhoon's fast, but he's nowhere near Thunderthorn's speed.

Eira: Sure we can, just hang on tight. *Grins* Come on, Thunderthorn, faster!
Thunderthorn roars loudly, its body cackling with lightning as it starts flying faster and faster.

(Kara's hair stands on end from the static, and she hugs Eira tightly from behind, and yells)
Kara: By the gods! As fast as lightning!

Eira: Hahaha, oh yeah! One of the fastest dragons there are! ^^

Kara: Faster than a Night Fury?

Eira: I'm not sure, I've never really seen one though.

Kara: Hey, Eira...can I talk to you? Just you and me?

Eira: Sure Kara, of course we can talk.

Kara: Do you...um...feel that sometimes....we're...uh...getting closer..together? *blushes*

Eira turns a bright red as she realizes what Kara's talking about.
Eira: Well....yeah. I kinda have felt that sometimes...

Kara: Really?! I mean, I get....I feel like butterflies are fluttering around in my stomach whenever I see you...and...*holds Eira tighter* I feel so warm next to you...I haven't felt this way about anyone else...I don't know what it means, either...

Eira: I...I actually felt the same about you for quite a while... I just don't know what to do about it.
