Magnus:Yeah, When I found Slicer in the forest near here. He was trying to scratch an itch. I felt like I should help. So I fed him a fish, I'd caught it earlier that day. and then I climbed on his back and scratched his itch. And he's still with me today,

Kara: Oh that'd be hard. Whispwing is the fastest dragon in Halfberk. It's why Ralof is the best. *sighs* Anyway, we should probably head for the cliffs on the northern side of the island. It's where a lot of the wild dragons live.

(Kara takes Eira's hand as she climbs up onto Thunderthorn behind her, and off they fly over the village, through the mountains, and around to the cliffs in the north, where many different kinds of dragons go about their business)
Kara: So many....where should we start?

Kara: Ooh, land there! *points to a large outcropping in the center of the area, where most of the dragons seem to congregate* There has to be one in there that'll respond to me.

She points to the edge of the outcropping, and understanding what his rider is signifying, Thunderthorn sets down there.

Magnus:*looking around at all the the dragons* Wow.

(Kara hops off Thunderthorn, and approaches a group of dragons)
Kara: Hello! *holds out her pack of fish*
(the dragons watch her cautiously, wary of the newcomer. Except for a Terrible Terror, who leaps up to the pack, snatches a fish, and darts off into the crowd)
Kara: Uh...guys? You think I can train a Terror?

(just then, a loud, booming sound echoes off the cliffs, sending most of the dragons flying, scattering in the skies)
Kara: What was that?! *covers her ears*
(Right after Kara covers her ears, another boom thunders throughout the cliffs, rattling some stones, and shaking trees)
