Gourmet Hunting! (Toriko-inspired RP)

Marcell leads the way in using a technique that she hasn't seen cutting a few trees into a makeshift corral. As Cerby herds the pigs into the corral.

Yoshiko jumps into the air and uses a technique he also hasn't seen, rapidly thrusting her middle finger and causing the pudding pigs to all collapse before she lands on her feet.

Marcell: nice moves.

Yoshiko: Rapid skewer. I use it for knocking, sometimes. It's mostly for lethal purposes.

Marcell: mine was pizza cutter. What I used on the trees.

Yoshiko: Alright, well let's dig in.

Marcell:How do you prepare these things?

Yoshiko: I guess you just chop them up and eat them normally.

Marcell starts to cut them up with his pizza cutter.
Marcell: so what's on your full course?

Yoshiko: Oh, mostly just things I found or had brought into my father's shop. *sets up a portable grill*

Marcell: I haven completed mine yet. Wanna know how I met Cerby?*passes her the steaks he cut*

Yoshiko: *starts grilling the steaks he gave her* I suppose most people our age wouldn't have a complete full course, although mine's near completion anyway.

Marcell: I see. I met Cerby on one of my jobs. He was caught in a trap by some other hunter. He had an injured paw. I bandaged it and fed him. And he hasn't left my side since.

Yoshiko: Oh, sort of like Takoyako. Come on out, girl!
A great rumbling is felt as a ginormous octopus with watermelon markings and long eyelashes with a flower stuck on its head pops out of the ground.
Yoshiko: She's my dad's pet. He lent her to me to use as a house. She takes me everywhere I've needed to go up until now.

Marcell: an octo melon capture level 265.
Cerby curiously sniffs the octo melon with all three noses.

Yoshiko: No, it's Takoko. *hugs the huge octomelon* Wanna come inside? Cerby can come in too. Then I can really cook these pudding pigs.

Marcell and Cerby go inside.
Marcell:wow this must be comfy.

Yoshiko: Yep, pretty much. *goes up a flight of stairs* I'll head to the kitchen then. Feel free to look around.

Marcell checks out the lower level while Cerby settles in for a nap.

Later on, the two are gathered in the dining room wth a full feast prepared.

Yoshiko: Okay, let's try our catch! *cuts up a piece of pudding pig pork chop and eats it, her eyes widening* Oh goodness! Even if it's be grilled, it tastes just like warm fresh made pudding!

Marcell:*eating* Yummy so good. This is amazing.

Yoshiko: I think I'll make pudding pig meat my meat dish.

Marcell: I'd be after jewel meat for mine.

Yoshiko: Jewel meat? You mean the meat inside the ancient food treasure, the regal mammoth? Why that?

Marcell: From what I've heard it has flavors of all cuts of meat.
