Seshail: What? I've never heard of that spell.
Arto: Eh, it's overrated. It's very complicated and expensive, and it links your feelings of pain as well.
Seshail: Eh, so anyway, Ari, what all can you do?

Ari: Well, I'm a master swordswoman, I'm able to use up to three swords at once, and I'm pretty good with my hellfire abilities. Though I mostly just use that as fireballs or on my swords to make them cut better.

Seshail: Uh....how do you use three swords at once?

Ari: Do you not see that I have a tail?

Seshail: Your tail is dexterous enough to wield a sword? >,> Prove it.

Ari: Alright, fine.
The demon woman opens up a portion of her robe to reveal a trio of swords in their sheathes, one of which is half as long as the others. She grabs the shortest one and, after unsheathing it, tosses the sword behind her, where Ari's tail snatches in mid-air, wrapping itself tightly around the hilt. And finally, in just a blink of an eye, carves an intricate rune into the wall behind her.
Ari: This enough proof for ya, kid?

Seshail: Well....color me impressed. What's the rune mean?

Ari: It means that I own this place now.

Arto: *zaps the wall with a heat spell that melts off the rune* Sorry, I saved this institute from a much more powerful demon than you in my teens, I won't let it fall to you now.

Ari: Aw, you're no fun. *Crosses her arms in disappointment after she re-sheathes her tail sword*

Erin: I heard about that. Did you ever confront the mother of the kings dragon?

Arto: The...mother of the king's...whatever do you mean?

Erin:Well remember when the thief gave king Marcus his dragon egg when they were young?

Arto: Dear Erin, I'm afraid you should check your hearing. I referred to Nergall the Demon, not Marcus' dragon.

Erin: I know you guys did that, But how did you deal with the dragon that laid King Marcus' egg?

Arto: *shrugs* After I dealt with Nergall, I heard of a group of dragonslayers going off to slay her, but I never again heard about them or the dragon.

Erin: Could have resulted in both parties getting killed.

Arto: That's what I assume, yes. Terrible shame.
Seshail: Uhhh....what are you guys talking about?
Arto: Back during my travels, my compatriots and I came across a nest housing a dragon's egg, when the mother spotted us. We got away, but Demetrius, the thief in our group, produced that very egg and gave it to Marcus. The mother dragon was vengeful, and burned the nearby village to the ground.

Erin: Atleast he made agreements with the other dragons so what happened then won't happen again.

Arto: Indeed. They agreed that humans could take orphaned dragon eggs only, because no living dragon would ever part with its egg.

Erin:So Ashley was an orphan?

A carriage pulls up outside of Arto's location and a beautiful old elven lady in a long beautifully embroidered silk dress gets out.

Lona: Hmmm. I wonder if Arto will recognize me after all this time? I've been wanting to meet my old friends.
Carriage person: I'll be waiting right here, ma'am.

Arto: Indeed she was. Incidentally, I very much admire the pun in her  name. *smiles warmly*

(Baird climbs out of the carriage after Lona)
Baird: He should. If he doesn't, you could play one of your songs to make him remember, then bash him in the head for not remembering.

Lona: I suppose you're right. *goes inside the building* Hello?

(an owl flutters up and lands on a perch next to Lona)
owl: Hello and welcome to the wizardry institute of Erolgard! Are you a hopeful new student?
