Lore: Rewrite

A rewriting of Lore. Kind of like FMA: Brotherhood, except with chicks that kick ass too!

Heroes were meant to die, villains were meant to rise and fall, only those heroes who truly made a mark on the world, survived.

Even those heroes who were so valiant and so brave that did survive, survived only in folktale and song. The heroes were all so honored, because they died trying to face a great demon of immense power. The demon of BattleOnia, the one woman who claimed the lives of hundreds of thousands for hundreds of years. It was said that the great demon intervened in the first elemental war and wiped out all sides, leaving the elemental lords, mortally wounded and severely injured to such a degree that they needed to surrender immediately and recuperate in their own realms. Fierce herself was so powerful at the time that she stripped the metal elemental lord of his power and then butchered him and ate him. Since then, she's been followed by a small but undeniably powerful machine army and whenever anyone heard the sounds of machines humming and large wheels rolling, this became the sign that the demon was coming. Now, the entirety of Lore fears the demon's presence and heroes have risen countless times to try and stop her, but every last one failed miserably, only to be slaughtered and eaten by Fierce herself.

Now, in the present day, One girl has made it her goal to defeat the demon once and for all. She was Gentle. She was a girl that looked completely like Fierce, but instead of an ominous and intimidating aura, she was as gentle as her name suggested, she wished to help and not harm. She wanted nothing but to stop Fierce's evil reign once and for all.

In the sleepy town of BattleOn lived Gentle, loved and idolized by all. She was an excellent marksman as well, skilled in athletics and acrobatics and quite a reputation as a fighter.

Gentle walked along the main road of BattleOn, it was early morning, the sun wasn't even fully up, just about rising over the horizon so the setting was dark and most of the shops were closed, the towns inns and hotels are all open of course. Gentle glowed in her yellow dress as her small skirt fluttered while she walked, the sounds of her foot steps echoed into the quiet air. She stopped at a street corner, dimly lit by the faint glow of the street lamp at the corner. She leaned against it and sighed. Another disappointing morning. She was hoping to face the great demon of legend and she made sure to wait for her at the exact time as mentioned in the legends that dated back to only 50 years before her own time.

Gentle: I guess the arrival times have changed since the stories my grandfather told me.

Her shadow blackens, and a figure a head or so taller than her materials behind the lamp, and took a step or two to stand in front of her and face her.

This creature's hair was as white as bone, quite pale, and had penetrating eyes that were as crimson as the blood of the damned. He took the form of a teen slightly older than the girl he was facing. His demeanor revealed itself to contrast strongly with his appearance.

Zera:Why, hello there. ^ ^ I know my appearance is rather sudden but seeing you from afar, I wondered what you were waiting so long here for. As even over the course of my approach you have hardly budged.

Gentle: I'm waiting for the demon to arrive. My grandfather said she'd always come here to feast upon the flesh of any hapless wandering soul at the exact time, three minutes ago.

Zera:Ah. The demon Fierce, yes? Well, if I may be so bold to say, such a thing is simply folklore. Surely the demon has her own private stock of flesh and souls now.

Gentle: Well.... I guess so.

An explosion occurs halfway across the town.

Gentle: What the hell was that?!

Zera:Ooooo. That looks interesting. Let's look into it, shall we?

In the time it takes to blink, he vanished. No teleportation, no magic used. He was just gone.

Gentle: OK. *teleports near the area of the explosion and finds a few of the fabled machines of the demon's army. Gigantic tank-like robots on large wheels and heads on the top, loaded down with cannons of all sizes, although there were three, they were all it would've taken to level the entire town in just twenty minutes, then the hooves came, a chill ran up Gentle's spine as a part of the sky lit up by the huge fire in the wreckage of the burning buildings destroyed by the explosion and from the blackened area of the sky came a pitch black horse and on it was the demon herself, Fierce, she was clothed in a skin-tight gray dress and boots as black as midnight, her her arms holding the reigns were clothed in blood-dyed black fingerless forearms cloth guards, her neck was covered by a long crimson scarf that also trailed behind her, Armor plating covering her hips and thighs also bounced as the horse descended from the sky, it touched down on the ground and Fierce stroked it mane before getting off.

Zera popped up from nowhere next to Gentle and looked onward at the carnage and Fierce.

Zera:Hm...well, isn't this the chance you wanted? Surely your intention is to kill her, am I correct?

Gentle: Yeah, but she's even scarier in person.

Fierce turned her gaze in the direction of the two and then waved her hand, launching a gigantic energy slice that Gentle grabs Zera and jumps out of the way of and levels a few buildings behind them, surely followed by the screams of the innocents trapped inside the buildings as they collapsed.

Zera:Hm...so, do you think you can stop her? The situation doesn't seem very promising.

Gentle: I don't think so. She just leveled a bunch of buildings with a simple flick of her wrist.

Zera:Well then, what will you do? I suggest getting stronger, maybe get some friends to help you out.

Gentle: then why don't you help me out? And I doubt my brother will do anything about Fierce since she's his namesake.

Zera:Ok, well...I doubt we can beat her, ourselves, but I suppose I'll help you.

Gentle: Fuck it, let's get out of here. *teleports*

Zera:Hm....so do we have a plan on how we're going to deal with this?

Gentle: Kill her with fire! But I guess we'll have to see what my brother has to say.

Zera:Alright...hm, she was kind of hot. ^ ^

Gentle: Whatever. *opens a door next to her and goes inside the building* Fierce?! You home?!

: Yeah! I'll be out in a minute! Just getting breakfast started.
Gentle: breakfast? What time is it now?
Fierce: Seven!

Fierce comes out and he's a boy that completely resembles Gentle, right down to the body type, even the hips and blue hair.

Gentle: Fierce, this is Zera, Zera, this is my twin brother, Fierce. He works as a monk-
Fierce: nun!
Gentle: ...Nun... for the local chapel here that's dedicated to the light lord.

Zera:Well hello....nun? Isn't that what the girls are called though?

Fierce: I wanna be a nun anyway! Being called brother makes me feel old!
Gentle: OK, shut up and get back in the kitchen.

Zera:Hm. (I know a couple of people who'd love to meet him...unfortunately...) So what were we going to talk to him about?

Fierce: yeah, what?
Gentle: The other Fierce is currently in town, any way to stop her?
Other than praying to the light lord since even that asshole won't be able to stop her.
Fierce; Hmmmm.... Kill her with love! ^ ^

Zera:I don't think it's that bad of an idea, but...doesn't sound practical at all.

Gentle: yeah...
Fierce: I was joking. We should just leave her alone anyway. That's what everybody's been doing for 100 years now.
