Lia immediately jumps out of bed, fully dressed
Lia: Well what are you waiting for?! Let's get going!
Later, after Nicole's cast gets removed, they enter Flannery's gym
Lia: Eh? This place looks like another hot spring, but without the springs....it's...it's a hot.

Lia: WAAAH! *gets blasted up through a water hole in the ceiling/floor* What the hell...how does that even work?!

A trainer sees Lia, and approaches her
trainer: C'mon, let's battle!
Lia: Oh, fine! Let's go!
The trainer sends out a Slugma, and Lia sends out her Sableye.
Lia: C'mon Crystal, let's go! Night Shade!
Sableye attacks with ghostly power, and Slugma comes back with an ember attack.
Lia: Night Shade again!
Sableye hits it with another night shade, and KOs the slugma
Lia: Yeah!
trainer: Good job! You can now advance. *jumps down the hole where Lia and Nicole came from*

Eventually, they find themselves reunited again in Flannery's room, where she's waiting for them
Flannery: Welcome to my gym, dudes! Ready to battle?
Lia: Woah! Her clothes look so cool! And hot...
