[WIP] Story

Silas:Give me another Ale.

Cammy: Could I use one of your rooms though, sir? Just for the night.

Sammy slides one over to Silas.

Sammy:Yeah, sure you can have a room. What's your name again? I think I forgot the other guys' names too. Oh, and take a shower for compensation, I'm too lazy to wash dirty bed sheets. But don't worry, they're clean, we've got the place enchanted so dirt doesn't accumulate over time.

Cammy: Oh, OK then. It's Cammy by the way.

Silas:*drinks his Ale* I'm Silas Dawn and Bone breaker is over there resting*Point the the sleeping animal*

Sammy:Hm, alright. Oh, and here's your change Ruzia.

Ruzia:No need, I'll be staying here again.

Sammy:You must really like this place to be staying here for a whole month.

Ruzia:Your alcohol tastes like a home brew rather than imported crap. And the bar fights keep my abilities toned. I like this inn a lot Sam. *takes another drink of her beverage*

Silas:Why is the government against people from the depths?

Sam:They're just paranoid that there's a revolt being plotted down there. Some of them are racists though.

Ruzia:At the rate they're going there will be a revolt. They've sent countless operatives down there and only handfuls have returned. They assume the ones who didn't return have died. There is no evidence to support that though. Most of the stories I've heard are that they stayed there because it was such a lovely place.

Cammy: *showering* Huh. I didn't actually think there'd be any running water here on the surface. It's nice this way. ^ ^

Silas:I see.

~Next Morning, outside of the bar~

Ruzia:Alright, I think we're all set. The storm seems to've settled down a bit too. *gets out a map of the Serabi Expanse* Hm. Gonna have to take guesses at where to head though.

Cammy: *looks at her map* Well that direction seems familiar to me. *points to the direction eastward of where they are*

Silas:Looks like a good sleep was all Bone Breaker needed.

Ruzia:Great, cuz the trip's gonna be long and hard. Pretty nice that we finally have a direction to go in too. *starts heading east* So you really came up here for a vacation Cammy? Despite the warnings? I mean surely your friends told you it was a bad idea.

Cammy: I don't have anymore friends. they were all murdered by drunken soldiers from the surface. i just didn't wanna believe the surface's military was full of racist drunks. *starts tearing up* But it's actually true.

Ruzia: It's been a problem for a long time, but right now the government sees it as propaganda funds better spent on civilians than brain washing the already racist soldier groups. Sorry for your loss. Alright, we're coming up to the gate checkpoint.

Guard:I see you've captured a couple underworlders.
Ruzia:That a new nickname for'em? Hope it doesn't catch on.
Guard:Well I won't keep you waiting, please proceed.
Ruzia:Good, wouldn't wanna keep the paperwork waiting. *turns on the gas veil module in her armor, enveloping the other two* K, let's go. *steps through the gate and checks her map*

Cammy: OK then.

Silas:So Cammy what are you?

Ruzia:Silas, are you sure you don't wanna go back down too? You might be hated or whatever down there but up here they won't even think once about killing you. They'll just do it.

Silas:Well maybe I'll go back.

Cammy: Yeah, better to be there and loved than be up here and loathed.

Ruzia:Well...the government up here still sends small groups of soldiers down there. I mean, I was down there once and there ended up being a massacre.

Silas:I have an idea. Why not get rid of the head of the government?

Ruzia:Well the problem with that is no one knows where he is. Just his security does. He probably hiding out until the Depths have their population wiped out. That's what politics is all about right now. What to do with you guys.

Silas:Well lets go find that bastard or bitch.
