Okay, so we don't have any confusions in the story after mention of this, I went back and changed Riley's starter to a starly. I was kind of uncomfortable with the fact that if Riley would choose to never evolve his trapinch, it would be going the Ash-route, but if he were to evolve it, there'd be two rare pokemon and that would be weird to me. And I know wiggles already has his own starly in the story, but I'm going with a starly since it functions more like a starter, seeing as it evolves to full early on.
