Fresh High School Story

Not Lore-based. As usual. The high school could be anything. The students enter without knowing what the school really offers outside of the standard curriculum of varying languages, math, etc. We assume the world this takes place in is one full of possibilities, and not limited by the reality of our own world. This allows for variation. Not everyone's a genius. Some people are worthless. But even they have a place here. The school caters, in short, to just about any kind of student who exhibits a certain quality that is not mentioned in the application form, or by any staff, or known by anyone except those who run the place.

This world is strange, but this school is outstanding even in this semi-fantastical world. Your character should treat the first few days of attendance as if a normal person were to go to such a school from our world.

Make up any club you want your character to be in, or we can all be in the same club for cohesiveness. Or a couple characters can be in one club, a couple in another, but we have some other classes where our characters meet up. Or perhaps the clubs could occasionally team together to achieve a common goal that touches upon common subjects their clubs work with. Like Math and Science clubs. Or Supernatural club and Magic club. Or alchemist, weapons, and assassins clubs. More than two or three could work together ofc.

A character can have a job or two on the side while also attending their club(s) and school...but this will affect their grades. But give them some money to spend on stuff. Some clubs are costly to join because you need gear for them. Like the Assassins club. Most provide some basic, crappy gear to start with, though. Unless they are popular.

Examples of what exists: Magic(but not to such a great degree as most fantasy...you can not summon skeletons, revive someone from death....or cast a spell to create a blazing twister), Ethereal creatures such as ghosts, vampires and werewolves exist, but are not so dramatic as they are in most fantasy. Sciences exist, and they have the most impact on the world, as it directly interacts with the world unlike magic, which will be explained later.

What doesn't exist: Dragons on as large as scale as most fantasy. They exist, but are as large as a household pet and are not a largely destructive force. Most fantasy races do not exist. Humans and perhaps dwarves. That's it. Elves would be too different. As well as Orcs and Trolls. Too different. Beast folk....MAYBE. Since they're usually laid back....but the fur and tails and ears are iffy.

Age: 16-24...yes, up to 24. Some clubs, which may have links to more professional organizations, require some to devote more years to them.

Gender: Only if you can't tell based on the name of the character/name is androgynous

Race: Currently limited to Humans, Half-Dwarves, and Dwarves. This can be expanded on or limited to humans.

Physical Description/Pic:

Weapon(s):If applicable. Yes, the school allows weapons, but the trials are rigorous to allow people to carry them through school or on the grounds. Most clubs that involve weapons or destructive magic are held far from the main campus.

And any misc. information. Like Blood Type. Due to how Vamps are, maybe they try not to feed on certain blood types due to varying properties. You can make up blood types or you can use irl ones. This is a pretty blank-slate setting, honestly. Be reasonable.

Physical Description: Messy, semi-short brown hair which is tied back when he's working on something. He has stubble, and prefers to keep his facial hair shaved at all times. He has a dull, tired look in his green eyes, but maybe that's because he's up late all the time. He's slightly muscular, having an athletic build. He is rather pale. Some people think he may be ill.
Blood Type: AB

Btw, vamps don't like blood type O most of the time, unless it had an O blood type before being a vampire. The other normal blood types make little difference to vamps.
