Poke-shounen story(The actual!)

Cole: Well if you wanna try, go ahead.

Akane: Okay...lesse if I remember how to do this...umm...er...*stretches her arms out, and reaches upward while also outstretching them, making a Y-shape with her body* Er..."Sunlight, Bring Your Shining Intensity to Light!" 
(the sun shines brilliantly, dissipating most of the storm clouds)
Ophelia: Excellent! 
Akane: It's not gonna last for long though...and those angry clouds are still gonna shoot lightning!

Cole: Yeah, that'll be a problem.
Addie: Don't worry! Cole can just absorb the lightning strikes! ^ ^
Cole: I'm not some sort of generator though.

Ophelia: True, but don't some electric types have a natural ability that lets them absorb lightning strikes like a lightningrod?

Cole: I do have that natural ability, yes. It's just not very comfortable.
Addie: Why not?
Cole: Getting hit with electric attacks just makes me feel a bit jittery is all.

Jax: I got it! Akane, you fly Cole up the mountain-make sure he's on top so he can absorb the lightning-then I hide in your shadow that's being cast on the mountain! It's the perfect plan! 
Akane: I'm...not sure if I can carry Co-
Jax: The PERFECT plan!!
Ophelia: *sighs* ...Well, what do you think, Cole?

Cole: I'm not sure Akane can carry me like that, though, Jax.

(Akane crouches down, waddles under Cole's legs, then wraps her arms around them and stands up, so that Cole is sitting on her shoulders)
Akane: *her knees start to wobble immediately* Ergh...it's....fine...

Cole: Uh... Okay...If you got this...

Ophelia: Okay then. I'll stay here and protect Toby, Addie, and Aria.
Akane: J-Jax...are you...readyyy? Nyergh...
Jax: Yeah, if you are. 
Akane: Rrrright then...
(Akane activates her wings, and flies upward slowly)
Jax: Okay! Good luck! *hops into Akane and Cole's shadow*

Addie: You can do it, Akane! I believe in you! ^ ^

Akane: I belieeeeve in my spine! *flaps up higher* How ya doin' up there, Cole? 
(a small cloud forms above them and zaps Cole with lightning)

Cole: Urk! I'm just fine, thank you. *absorbs the lightning into him* Ugh.

(After an arduous fly up, and many, many bolts of lightning, they reach the top of the mountain. Akane drops Cole, and nearly collapses)
Akane: Nuuuh...so...tired...

Cole: That was the weirdest flight I'll probably ever have in my life.

(Jax hops up onto the summit with them, and stretches) 
Jax: Ah, that was the best power-nap I've ever had!
Akane: I...hate you...
(on the summit, they see a small, makeshift shack)

Cole: Well whaddaya know, someone really is living up here. Shall we go investigate?

Akane: You guys go on ahead...I'll....gonna wait until I can feel my arms again.

Cole: Alright... Let's go Jax. *starts heading to the shack*

Jax: Hey! What if I hide in your shadow, and jump out if there's any fishy business? Y'know, for a surprise attack?

Cole: That's not an excuse to have another nap, is it?

Jax: oh, come on. It's not like it's gonna take you that long to walk over to the hut. *hops in Cole's shadow* C'mon, it'll be fine!

Cole: Fiiiine! *gets up to the hut* Hmmm... *knocks on the door*

(as soon as Cole starts walking, a light snoring comes from his shadow. A old, tired voice comes from the other side of the door)
voice: Wot? You made it up the mountain? Impossible!

Cole: Gods dammit, Jax... Yes, I made it up the mountain.
