Lia: Thanks! *takes back Cheezit's ball and goes out to the group* Ready.

Lyus stood up, out of his seat in the pokemon center, after watching Lia heal her pokemon without noticing him.
Lyus told his Cyndaquil and Taillow to follow him outside. Taillow perched himself on Lyus' shoulder, and Cyndaquil walked next to Lyus

Lyus: Did you all forget about me?

Lia: Lyus! You want some gum?

Lyus: Sure, why not?

Cyndaquil mewed a bit at Lia

Lyus: Oh this is Cyndaquil, she is what the professor gave me. I haven't figured out a name for her yet.

Alex: I think she was there to see you get Cyndaquil.

Lia: Aw! It's adorable! *pets it on its back* AUGH! IT BURNS! *keeps petting it*

Amethyst: Oh why'd I get into this mess?

Alex: Because we're your friends and your mom thought that it'd be best for us to travel together?

Maricia:Yeah.

Lia: Ouch...anybody have a burn heal?

Alex: Sorry, I don't have one.

Maricia gives her one.

Amethyst: Doesn''t that thing only work on pokemon?

Lia: Well, we'll see I guess...*sprays the burn heal on her hand* ...ah, that's better...thanks Maricia!

Maricia:You're welcome. I wonder what pokemon we will see on the way to the next city.

Lia: What's the next city?

Maricia: Kōtoku Town.

Amethyst: Let's just call it Cody Town.

Lia: Kodmoko Town?

Maricia:Ok. Let's go.

Amethyst: To Cody Town.

Maricia leads the way.
Maricia:I bet we find some cool pokemon.
