Lore: 3boot(it's like the Reboot, but 2 more!)

Hana: Sure, I'd love to.

~on a street leading to a market~
Layla(walking with Hana): ...and then two bears came along and rescued us from the bandits. One of those bears turned out to be human. And when we reached the next town there was still no word of my parents...

Hana: I see. I've always lived with all of my family. I couldn't imagine living all my life without them.

Layla: In the alumcury we are supposed to accept that we have no family...I never did, so I escaped that place...I may never see my home again...

Hana: Poor thing. *hugs Layla*

Layla: ! *blushes* Oh, thank you... *hugs her back, nervously* So, I-
(a loud crack is heard, as a huge, insectoid-looking spore emerges from a crack in the ground in the middle of the market, and lots of giant spiders emerge from it and start attacking people)
Layla: Oh my!

Hana: Oh dear. You can defend the two of us, can't you, Layla?

Layla: Not very well, but he can. *conjures her fire elemental, which is a large, thick snake made from magma*
(the snake then launches fiery rocks at the spiders)
Layla: That should take care of i-
(an insectoid claw reaches up from the ground and grabs Layla by the ankle, tripping her down to the ground)
Layla: ACK! *hits the ground*

Hana: Layla! *punches the insectoid repeatedly and very weakly* You meanie!

(the arachnid releases grip of Layla, then turns on Hana)
Layla: Stay away from her! *blasts the spider with her confusion spell, causing it to stagger and fall over*
(by this time, the guards are out and actively fighting off the bugs)
Layla: We should leave this place... *tries to get up*

Hana: *helps Layla up* Yes, we should. Let's get going.

~in an alleyway~
Layla: Insects...from the ground....I have never heard of giant insects from the ground...

Hana: I was equally surprised as well. Even though I see millipedes ten feet long all the time in my home.

Layla: That sounds terrifying.. *lifts up her robe, to see some chafe and acid burn marks on her ankle, where the insect grabbed her* Oh no...I do not suppose you know any healing magic...

Hana: Of course, it's what I'm proficient in. I am a cleric. *starts healing Layla's ankles*

Layla: thank you. *stretches her leg, then blushes a bit and covers it back up with her robe* I am sorry I revealed myself to you. *bows slightly* Now I must investigate the origin of these insects... will you join me?

Hana: Sure, I'll go anywhere with you.

~market~
Layla: *recalls her fire snake, and kneels down to investigate one of the tunnels dug by one of the spiders* Hmmm..seems large enough for someone to crawl down...*starts climbing into the hole*

Hana: I'm not sure about this. *follows Layla*

Layla: Do not worry. I am right here. Now, this tunnel should lead us to wherever those insects came from...if only we had a light of some sort...

Hana: Hmmmm.... *sends out a small orb of light that floats in front of them* That's the best I can do.

Layla: *smiles* It's...*looks at Hana's face in the magic light* perfect...*blinks*

Hana: *blushes* Is it really perfect?

Layla:...yeah. *blushes a bit* Uh..erh, we should get going.....*crawls onward*

Hana: Ye...Yes. *follows Layla*
