Lore: 3boot(it's like the Reboot, but 2 more!)

~the next morning~
(Layla, on the outskirts of town, is talking to a few grieving women)
Layla: While I am sorry for your losses to the spiders, I cannot bring your loved ones back to you. Any body I use my magic on would only become my undead thralls. *touches her forehead, then the grieving mother's forehead* May Neurum watch over all the departed souls.
Baird(with the rest of the group, not far from Layla): Hey, come on! It's a long way to Elridge!

Hana: I hope I did not upset Layla.

Chris:What did you do Hana?

Hana: I confessed my love to her last night. I was just...as soon as I saw her, I knew I was in love with her.

Chris:Don't be ashamed.

Baird: Ah she's not upset. At least I think she's not....I dunno, I don't think she likes showing her emotions...
(Layla approaches them)
Layla: Are we ready to depart? ...What were you talking about?
Baird: ! Oh..oh nothing...

Hana: Yes, we're ready to go.

Baird: Right! Next stop: Elridge! *mounts his horse and trots forth*
Layla: *gets on her tortoise* Eldrora..Elridge...I am sensing a pattern here.

Hana: I was told in Elrun that all of Elro's cities and towns start with "El".

Chris:Yeah.

(later on on the trail, the enter a densely wooded area)
Baird: Ah, Menden Wood. such a fair forest full of rabbits and deer and bandits.
Layla: Did you say bandits?
Baird: Yes, but they're very polite about it.

Chris:Never heard of a polite bandit.

Hana: Sounds a bit like an oxymoron to me.

voice from the bushes: WHO CALLED ME A MORON?!
(a few bandits clad in shoddy leather/hide armors emerge from the bushes, brandishing chipped and rusty iron weapons)
lead bandit: Awlright, give us all yer money and valuables, maybe a few goes "behind the bush" at the pink girl.
Layla: -_-+ Please leave, I grow tired of your boorish behavior.
bandit: Always with the name calling! Let's teach 'em a lesson, boss!
lead bandit: Alright, we'll loot yer stinkin' corpses then! AT 'EM, BOYS!
(the bandits fall in and attack the group)
Layla: *sighs, and hits the lead bandit with a green shimmering ray of magic that puts him to sleep*

Chris transforms into a bear man and roars at the bandits causing some to run away in fear.

bandits: COWARDS! Hergh! *hacks at Chris with a dull, rusty iron axe*

Chris blocks it with his paws and Crush bites the leader.

that's not the leader. The leader is back aways, asleep. eh fuck it.

Layla: I thought you said they were polite?
Baird: ......OH! I was talking about Grimdark Forest. Nevermind. *chuckles*

Hana: You scared me! I thought I was going to be killed. *shivers*

Layla: It is fine, the bandits did not seem too well armed.
(later, the group happens upon a spring of freshwater, with a small waterfall flowing into it)
Baird: Oh wow! Well I'm going in, I smell like a behemoth's arsehole! *jumps off his horse, and runs to the spring, taking off his clothes and boots*

A pale, white-haired boy pokes his head out from behind the waterfall upon hearing the group's voices. He scans along the group with his eyes quickly before shrinking back behind the falls. A watchful eye might've caught a look of disappointment on his face.

Hana: Neat. *takes off her shoes and dips her feet into the spring while sitting on the bank* Ahhhh. ^ ^

Layla: *goes over to the bank, and dips her hand in the water* It feels so nice and cool...*sniffs her robe* Oh my! I suppose it has been a very long time since my last bath...*pulls her robe up over her head, leaving her undergarments, then steps into the spring*
