She smiles as she pats Lona's back.

Garian:I could ask some of the animals along the way for help as well.

Demetrius: If you want, I can write up a contract that should be beneficial for all of us! *gets out a quill and some parchment, and starts scribbling* But instead of sparrows, let's say 300 crows...yes...that should do it. Protecting one's life is an important job, eh?

Caran: I guess. i was always hired to protect caravans. *shrugs*
Lona: Well I have a crossbow, yes.
Caran: Then why the blazes do you need me?!
Lona: because you're really strong.

Garian:Indeed. So when will we face the demon?

Caran: We'll face Nergall when we find him.

Garian:Oh Right.*slight blush* So what are you gonna do after we defeat the bastard?

Blossom: Go home and celebrate of course. ^^

Garian: I was talking to Caran.

Caran: What do you mean "we"? I'm just gonna continue adventuring on my own.

Garian: I wanna go with you.

Arto: Then I return to Esadan, and be welcomed back into the ranks of wizards.
Demetrius: Yeah, it's not like that was the whole reason for this quest in the first place or anything.
Arto: It's...the only thing I've got...

Lona: Huh. So we're all just gonna go our separate ways? Alright then.

Arto: Well we don't have to...I mean, I could visit you in Evenset or something...

Blossom: Yeah, it'll be fun. *Sighs* But it's a real shame that we're going to have to split up when this is all over.

Caran: I'm sure we can all visit each other somehow.
Lona: Well I wouldn't immediately go back to Evenset or anything.

Arto: Why not? As a demonslayer, you should be welcome pretty much anywhere.

Lona: But I still want to explore the world.

Arto: Hmm..... explore, eh?
Demetrius: Hm?
Arto: Sod it, let's go along the road! It'll give us more time with each other.

Lona: More...time? Okay then. let's get going.

Arto: I-
(the entire inn starts to shake violently)
Arto: Ah! Earthquake?!
(the shaking intensifies, and things drop to the floor; bottles, food, drunk patrons. The party each hear a low, foreboding rumbling in their heads, and then:)
voice: I KNOW YOU YOU ARE HERE!
(in an instant, everything they see around them disappears; the tables, the patrons, the food, followed by everything they see around them again; the streets, the buildings, the citizens. To anyone with a finely-tuned sense of magic, it would seem that the particular magic causing this was being suddenly countered by weak, but more friendly source. It helped, but too late and too little. Soon, all that was left was the party in a large, flat plain, with lots of holes in the ground filled with dirt, and hot smoke rising from the ground.)

Arto: ...what...was that.

Lona: *hugs Arto* That was the scariest thing I've ever seen, Arto! Q.Q

Blossom: Yeah...I'm scared... Q.Q *Hugs Arto*

Garian:No animals or plants near here either,

Arto: Okay...uh....*stands up, and dusts himself off* no need to panic...an entire city just disappeared before us....that's....that's normal...
Demetrius: ....all those riches...gone...
