Lia: I'm sorry I threw away all the clothes you got me...i just didn't want to have anything that reminded me of you...

Nicole: I understand. And it's fine, I picked them up on the way here.

Lia: *hugs her very tightly* I love you, Nicole. I never wanna lose you.

Nicole: I know... Now can you let go? You're hugging me a little too tightly...

Lia: Oh! I'm sorry.. *lets go of Nicole* so why was your ex back in town?

Nicole: She wanted to get back together and we'd go to her dad's resort in the Alola region.

Lia: Were you...gonna go?

Nicole: No, I wouldn't have gone if it meant leaving you here.

Lia: *grins brightly* C'mon, let's go. I could use some food! ^//^

Nicole: Well I guess we can get some food.

Back at the same restaurant later, Lia is sitting right next to Nicole, happily munching on french fries, while her Swablu sits on the table and eats Pokemon food
Lia: So where are we headed next?

Nicole: I guess we go to Lavaridge Town to get to the gym. Though to get there, I think we're gonna need to take that cable car up to the top of Mt. Chimney and climb down.

Lia: Oh that's a....that's a....fire-type gym, right?

Nicole: I think so, yeah. Why do you ask?

Lia: Oh...None of my Pokemon are good against fire...

Nicole: I don't think any of my Pokemon are good against Fire either...

Lia: *gasps* Nicole! You know what that means!

Nicole: We need to capture new pokemon?

Lia: Let's go over to Slateport to catch water type pokemon!

Nicole: I guess we should go.

Lia: Oh wait...we don't have pokemon that can fly us there...oooh! What about the desert? Bet we can catch some ground types.

Nicole: I don't think we have anything that'd allow us to travel in the sandstorm.

Lia: Oh, right...I forgot there's that perpetual sandstorm in the desert. Well, where can we find goggles or face masks or whatever?

Nicole: Maybe we can check in Mauville City?

Lia: But that's so far away! *puts her head down on the table*
