Matthew: Any results yet?

Zero: it is an elemental of sorts. I have read about elementals in some of Master's old books. This one seems to be of the dark element. However, it was just created. it seems relatively young.

Nora:Aw, now that's a little depressing. Poor thing. Well we should go before I start trying to give it a proper burial. *walks into the city since they were just outside of it* Woah. Some of the smaller buildings are just covered in that red gunk. *shoots at it* It's fleshy alright. Gross.

Several elementals come around a corner and begin to charge at them, drooling darkness that begins to burn through the road.

Matthew: *Sighs* Guess we gotta do things the hard way then...
Matthew's skin turns to metal and his arms turn into blades and rushes the incoming elementals, slashing several with his arms as he passes them.

Nora:I'll keep my distance this time.

Nora steps back as some attack him and fires on them, one jumping on him and slashing into him before having its head cut off.

Van: You know what to do. *conjures a pike for Zero and stops hovering as elementals rush at her and she stabs them*

An elemental tackles Matthew, but predictably it does nothing but crack its own skull. The shapeshifter sighs as his right arm shifts from a blade into a tentacle, wrapping around the wounded creature and tossing it right into a trio of its buddies.

Nora:*sees the last one get killed by Zero* Ok, I guess we'll have to look for the college, she's probably there.*starts walking toward the college* Wow, looks like there's a lot of those things there. We might have to play this a little smart?

Matthew: Hmm, and you have any ideas on how we may be able to do that?

Nora:Well if I guess I could pick them off from an elevated area and you guys could ambush them. I should be able to handle anything that makes it past you guys.

Zero: *stabs the last one she killed with her pike and moves back over to Van* Let's go, Master.
Van: Whenever the others are ready.

Matthew: Hmm, alright. Seems reasonable enough.

It's not late, it's continuity from azure's post.

Nora:K.

He jumps onto a smaller building's roof and jumps from it to a another's roof to get a good position and waits for the others to get into a favorable position.

Matthew simply shrugs as he walks over by an alley, and turns into a small rock, waiting for any elementals to pass by.

Van: Wanna carry me to a rooftop or something?
Zero: Yes, Master. *picks Van up and flies up to a rooftop nearby*

When everyone is in position, he opens fire on the elementals, landing numerous head shots before they notice him and begin to run as a swarm towards the building he's on top of.

Van: At least it ain't me.
Zero: ....*fires beams at the elementals*

Matthew turns back into his metallic form from moments earlier, and seeing that his friend's in danger, grows a pair of dragon wings. Taking off the ground, he slashes the elementals that are near the top of the building.

They begin to turn the corner to ascend Nora's building, and he opens the door leading up to him and readies his weapons for what makes it past the others.

The shapeshifter, realizing that there are too many to take out with melee attacks, turns into a dragon (no idea if those still exist) and decimates several dozen of them with a stream of flame.

As some come up the stairs Nora cuts his way through them to the ground floor and guns the rest down as he walks outside.

Nora:Alright, looks like we're done here! ^ ^

Matthew, upon hearing this, lands down onto the ground and turns back into his human form, now covered in ash and soot. The shapeshifter sighs as he brushes it off.
Matthew: So uncivilized.... >.>

Nora:*looks to the college* Well when Van gets down we'll go in and see if we can find Estris.

Zero carries Van down.

Van: Were you squeezing my butt or something?
Zero: Apologies, Master.
