a Lore story using the Norse version of Lore

this story will include, at the very least, Norse Fierce, Hallia, and many more VIKING CHARACTERS JER!

the story idea I have so far: a lone hero dies in combat, and is visited by the Valkyries who arrive to take him to Asgard, but he protests, saying that the soul of his beloved was taken by his daemonic enemies, and trapped in the roots of the Yggdrasil. So they gots ta go get 'er back and defeat the enemies who are poisoning the roots of the Yggdrasil with lost souls. Any thoughts?

Yggdrasil: Otherwise known as the World Tree, it is a huge ash tree located at the center of the earth, with three roots, one extending to Niflheim (the underworld), one to Jotunheim (land of the giants), and one to Asgard (land of the gods)

also naw, this story will be centering on Midgard and the Yggdrasil, mainly the root connecting Midgard to Yggdrasil, and the root connecting Yggdrasil to Asgard.

Hel is the Nordic goddess of the underworld. Maybe she'll offer aid to the heroes help to get her realm back or whatever. It will be one of the primary settings.

okay. This isn't a Norse God fanfic here, this is just a story. It doesn't have to feature every norse god.

Alright. So how will the heroes be summoned to fight?

that's the part I'm working on. So far it's only two Valkyries(Norse Fierce and Hallia) and the hero, yet-to-be-named. I need a way to sensibly intro other characters to this, in a way that makes sense.
