-=EPISODE ONE: The Lurid Lumiose!=-

(outside the train station in Kalos, Victoria ambles out of the doors, focused on what's in her hands, a device that looks like a dowsing machine. She is accompanied by her Sableye, sitting on her hat, looking inquisitively at her device.
Victoria: Oh yeah, it's rising now. There's definitely something in this town. *absentmindedly bumps into a rather large, bulky punk-looking fellow* Oh, excuse me.
punk-looking fellow: Oi! Just who the hell do you think you are?!
Victoria: ......I don't know how to answer that...
punk-looking fellow: What's this here? *grabs her device, and holds it up to his head for closer inspection*
Victoria: Hey, give that back! That's my spectre-trackre!
punk-looking fellow: Nah, I think I'll keep this do-sing machine. Always wanted one.
Victoria: That's not yours! Give it back! Gengar!
(the punk-looking fellow's shadow takes on a very sinister leer, and suddenly the fellow seems a bit drowsy.)
Victoria: *takes the device from the punk-looking fellow's suddenly non-conflicting fingers* Thanks!
(a satisfied Gengar emerges from the shadow, and waddles over to Victoria)
Victoria: Now, let's go find that building...

Zoe: *walks out of the frisseur furfrou with her furfrou dolled up in the kabuki style* Ha ha! You look regal as all get out now, Maxwell. ^ ^ 'Course the pharaoh style pretty regal too, but I liked orange better on ya anyways. Now, where else to go in this big ol' place, hm? *looks around*

Victoria: *bumps into Zoe, with the same level of absentmindedness as before* Oh, bother. Will people stop being in the way, please? Is that so much to ask?!

Zoe: Well sorryyyyy! I was just here on a shopping trip, meanie!

Victoria: Shopping?! I'm here on official paranormal investigative business! *looks around suspiciously* I'm looking....for ghosts...

Zoe: Ghosts? Well there's a ghost in my family's mansion. My father always called him Charles. He never really did anything bad, really, just....kinda...kept all the windows clean.... I guess in his life, he was a butler or some kind of servant at the mansion. It's been in my family for generations, so it's quite possible.

Victoria: No, I don't mean Ghost-type Pokemon. >,> Those are still living beings, they're Pokemon! *pats Gengar* I'm talking about actual spectral apparitions, ghosts of things!

Zoe: That's what I'm talking about, Charles is a ghost in my family's mansion! I've never seen the guy so I don't know if he is a pokemon, all i know is, he might be a family servant that passed away years ago.

Victoria: Well.....Okay, I'll check that out once I finished what I came here for. Do you know where Cafe Ultimo is? This building I'm supposed to investigate is right across the street from it.

Zoe: Well let's see if we can take a cab there. That alright with you?

Victoria: Cab? Cabs cost...money, right? I sorta spent my last yen on the train here...

Zoe: Don't worry, I'll pay for it, I got three hundred thousand yen left, let's go get a cab.

Victoria: That's a number? You rich or something?

Zoe: Yeah, my father owns a pokeball manufacturing company. Nothing really special. *shrugs*

(outside Cafe Ultimo, the taxi pulls to a stop, lets the girls out, and drives off down the street)
Victoria: Ugh, those seats were sticky....What were they even sticky with?!

Zoe: Someone was probably walking their muk or grimer at one point.....

A young man sitting outside the cafe, having heard Victoria, looks up from his lunch out of curiosity, raising an eyebrow at her weird equipment.
Michael: You really don't want to know lady...

Victoria: 'Lady"? Never been called that before...mostly "kid", or "hey you, get off my dead grandmother"...

Victoria: She might have been possessed. I didn't know she was dead.
.....
Victoria: Mhmhm! *turns back to Michael* Hey, who are you, anyway?

Michael: Uh....Michael. Now why do you ask, why are saying such weird stuff, and what's with that stuff you have with you?

Victoria: You mean my Spectre-Detectre? I made it myself! It detects ghosts, ghasts, cold spots, spectral anomalies, and...well, spectres. And now it's pointing me towards...*turns around to the office building across the street* What's in that building?

Zoe: Let's go find out then.

Victoria: What? I was just asking, I really don't know. I have to ask a lot of questions, it's part of my job. What is that building, anyway?

Michael: Well uh....
He turns to look at the building Victoria pointed at and his face reddens very slightly before looking back at the two girls.
Michael: It's just some office building. Mind if I come along or something if you're going to check it out? Whatever you're planning on doing right now looks interesting and I got nothing better to do.

Victoria: Well...I guess. I always have time to train more than one new protege.
(inside the building, they see a bored-looking receptionist behind a desk, and a punk-girl standing in and looking at the corner.)
Victoria: Hmmm...*goes up to the receptionist* Hi, I'm Victoria, a professional paranormal investigator. I'm here to investigate this building! Is there anything you can tell me about it?
receptionist: well...some kung fu guy from Kanto bought the third floor a while ago to start a fighting dojo or something...oh, and the second floor is closed off. don't go to the second floor.
Victoria: Why not?
receptionist: That's it, I can't tell you any more things. Go away.

Zoe: Let's go to the second floor anyway. *goes to the elevator and pushed the button to call it*
