(open on Nishiseto Town, and Lia is laying down on the grass in front of Professor Mahogany's lab, staring off into space, eyes glazed over)
Lia:....*takes another draw from her blunt, and slowly exhales the smoke* ahh...this Venusaur Butt's some strong stuff...hoo...

The door next to where Lia is opens up to let a young, extremely attractive woman in a white lab coat step out and give Lia a look of disappointment.
Professor Mahogany: How many times to I have to tell you stop doing your drugs so close to my lab?

Maricia:Hey Professor. I'm here for my Pokemon.

Lia: Professor, you make it sound like I'm shooting Hitmonline(pokemon'd heroine) over here...I'm just out here enjoying nature, waiting for my first pokemon...

Amethyst: *walks up to Mahogany from behind her and tugs her mother's lab coat* Mom, where did you put my new pokemon?

Maricia looks at Lia with disgust.
Maricia:Are you sereiously gonna trust that addict with a Pokemon? *smiles* Hey Amethyst.

Lia: *looks at Maricia in indignation* addict?! I could say the same about you, miss I-sneak-puffins-from-professor's-pokemon!

Professor Mahogany groans as she rubs her temples in annoyance.
Mahogany: Both of you just shut up and stop fighting, you're giving me a headache.

Maricia: I don't do that. And professor I'd like a Charmander.

Amethyst: It's OK, mom, soon, you won't have to worry about me anymore and I can go running off and declare my independence from you.

Mahogany smiles as she hugs her daughter.
Mahogany: I know, it seemed like just yesterday when I was first teaching you about Pokemon. *Wipes away a tear from the happy memory* I just know that you'll be safe, but just in case of an emergency just call me on your cellphone.

Lia: And I can go...declare...in...*takes another draw from her blunt and stands up* Can I have a Slakoth?

Amethsyt: I will, mom. I'll be sure to call you every chance I can...Unless I can't get reception. *hugs her mother*

Maricia:That Lazy normal type?

Lia: Hey chill! what's up your bum?

Maricia:You just want it cause it's like you Lia.

Lia: Isn't that the point of..pokemon get?

Mahogany: And I'll be looking forward to it.
A blonde boy walks up to the four with a bit of a grin on his face.
Mahogany: Oh Alex, just in time to get your Pokemon.
Alex: Well who wouldn't want to miss out on getting their own Pokemon? And as a bonus I get to go on an adventure with two cuties and a hottie. :3
Mahogany: Alex, I've known you for years and I trust you'd help keep my girl safe, but if you go after her romantically without her letting you I'm going to have to painfully torture you. Got it?
Alex: Yes ma'am... ._.u

Maricia:That goes double for me Alex.

Amethyst: What do you mean I'm traveling with you? Mom, don't let me go with this pervert.

Maricia:Amethyst can I travel with you?

Lia: I thought we were all traveling together?

Mahogany: You are; but don't worry sweetie, I'm sure the other girls will stop him from trying anything.
