Clothes ripping fantasy

I suggested scifi fantasy originally to explain tech that would regenerate the cahracters' clothes regenerate after battles. Plus, we can have shit like laser swords and guns

so I just wanna make sure, is this clothes ripping thing gonna work like when we did that Lore Fighting Forces stuff?

-Quantum Deflect: she can massively accelerate her reaction time, sort life like a bullet time where she can deflect any projectile with her sword, from bullets to lasers.
-Nova State: this ability has yet to be unlocked by her. For a brief time, her body becomes invulnerable, giving off a glowy red aura, and she deals out massive damage with her sword.

Weapon: A red laser sword shaped like a katana

Alternate weapons: None

Background story: Her body is inhabited by an ancient, seafaring alien spirit by the name of Vian. The previous owner of the body, Tiena, was the daughter of a marketplace owner that fell sick, and died a week later in the hospital. For reasons yet unknown, Vian was drawn into Tiena's body, and a few of her powers with her. Now, having no memory of neither Tiena's life nor hers, she tries to make a new life as a sellsword in a world that thinks she's dead.

story will take place on the planet Verduria, a planet like Earth that is lush in plant life and has vast seas. It's recently opened its surface to many alien immigrants and with the combined technology of the aliens and the natives of Verduria, magic now coincides with ever-advancing technology, with magic being supplemented by technology and vice versa. As such, laser pistols are a thing, but swords and spells and shields and such are preferred. Recently, the planet's become under siege by a mysterious sorceress that wants to plunge the world into an almost perverse darkness. As such, all weapons and spells simply bruise and lightly cut an individual while their clothing and armor takes the full brunt of damage. No one knows why or how this has come to be, but scholars are continually researching the phenomena that has since made many weary of the fabrics on their bodies.

Yeah, it'll be a small circular device that attaches to a wearer's hip via a strange alien adhesive that can stick to any surface from metal to fabric with an almost magnetic quality and its center, which is of a pink cross adorning the surface of the center can be pressed like a button to instantly regenerate lost or damaged clothing on the wearer as the wearer can use the device to read and store a particular outfit as data that it can then recall with the press of its center. There is also a more masculine red cross version on the market.

yeah, if you're naked, you're pretty much out as you're injured from lack of clothing.
