(Open on the city of Rustboro, at night, around 10:30 PM. Lia and Nicole are having a sleepover at Lia's home.)
Lia: *uses her snoozing Shroomish, Lump, as a pillow* Hey you want more chips? I have like, seven more bags.

Nicole: *Hugs her Torchic, Torch, while a Ralts, Kara, leans against her* Nah, I'm fine. Thanks for asking though, Lia.

Lia: Well what about Kara? Eh? *holds a chip up to Kara's mouth* Want a chip?

Kara looks at Lia and the chip she's offering for a couple seconds before timidly eating it out of her hand.

Lia: Nicole, you gotta teach me how to catch pokemon. You've been here for like a week and you've already got a Torchic and caught a Ralts! That's amazing!

Nicole: Oh, no, Kara here was a gift from my parents from before we moved here. But I suppose it can't hurt for me to teach my darling servant to catch pokemon. But, you haven't been taught how to catch them before?

Lia: No, I just found Lump one day nibbling on my garbage. And I told you to stop calling me servant! *pouts cutely*

Nicole: What about the trainer school here? And it's so cute to see you pout like that.

Lia: Oh, I can't do school. I always fall asleep. *sits up suddenly* Hey! What if we just went out on our own? Like, to have our own pokemon adventure!

Nicole: Oh, that sounds like a marvelous idea, Lia.

Lia: Really? I figured you'd be too stuck up and used to a comfortable rich lifestyle to go out into the wilderness? >

Nicole: Oh please, why do you think my family moved away from Kalos? It's so that we can have a simple life, and an adventure around the region would be a perfect example of that.

Lia: Then let's go right now!

Nicole: But it's 10:30 at night. We don't even have those pokedex things.

Lia: Pokedex! Who needs it? All we need is our eyes and our brains!

Nicole: Well I suppose you have a point on that. But it's still too late for us to start now.

Lia: Oh come on! It'll be fun travelling in the dark! And we only need one sleeping bag. *slyly raises her eyebrows a few times at Nicole*

Nicole: Sorry sweetie, but I need my beauty rest. We'll start in the morning, okay? *Lies down*

Lia: Nicole! *nudges Nicole repeatedly* Nicole Nicole Nicole! Let's start now! It'll be fun!

Nicole: Noooo....sleep now and adventure later....

Lia: Hmph. Fine. But first thing in the morning, we're leaving!
~12:00 PM, Lia is still fast asleep and snoring~

Nicole: Hey Lia, it's time to wake up. I thought my darling servant wanted to go on an adventure?

Lia: Mmmeh....I don't wanna wake up...*suddenly, her eyes open wide* What time is it?!

Nicole: It's noon, Lia. I would've waken you up earlier, but you just looked so cute sleeping.

Lia: >///> Well I'm happy to have given you something to look at. Anyway, let's go! We gotta go shopping for our adventure!
