Nicole: Now let's see if it works now! *Tosses a trio of great balls at the Skarmory*

Skarmory bats away all three great balls, then flies up to a tree up on a steep hill to rest
Lia: No way! It deflected all those balls! What are you gonna do?

Nicole: I'm gonna cram them down its throat if it'll help me catch it..... *Uses more potions on Torch*

Lia: Woah yer dedicated...also how many potions do you have??

Nicole: I have a lot, why do you ask?

Lia: Just curious, man. Yer just pullin' them out. Never mind that, though! *points to the Skarmory* Get it before it gets away!

Nicole: Yeah. You heard her, Torch. We need to keep weakening that Skarmory so I can catch it!
Torch just looks at the tree the Skarmory's perched on before unleashing a flamethrower to incinerate it.

Lia: Looks like it's out of range. You gotta climb that hill, babe.

Nicole: I'm going to wait until it gets close to me.

Lia: What if it flies away?

Nicole: Well we'll just have to make sure that it doesn't.

Lia: Just climb up there, wimp!

Nicole: Fine, fine. *Goes over to start climbing up the slope*

Lia: Here, I'll help you! *sends out Ace, who grabs onto Nicole and flaps her up the slope*

Nicole: Thanks for that, Lia.

Lia: Go get 'im, babe! I know you can do it!

Nicole: Yeah. *Mumbles a bit* Hopefully this won't kill me....

The Skarmory screeches at Nicole, then rushes at her, baring its claws

Nicole: Aaah!
She sticks her arm out with a Great Ball in her hand and looks away in terror, not watching as the Skarmory bumps into the ball.

The Skarmory immediately gets captured, but struggles to break free

Nicole: Did I....did I catch it? Oh? *Holds the ball close as she feels the ball shaking*

Lia: Hold on to it! I believe in you!
After a while, the ball stops shaking, and clicks

Nicole: Yes! I did it! ^^

Lia: Okay now come on down, Nicole! Be careful!
The ground underneath Nicole gives way, and sends her careening down the slope, ultimately landing on Lia and half-burying them both in the ash
Lia: Ow...

Nicole: Ow... What is it with slopes and us falling down them? *Gets up* You okay, Lia? *Helps her up*
