Axcellion story thread

This is a fantasy mecha story I'm planning set in a swords and magic fantasy world where humanity is threatened not only by monsters, but also malevolent, colossal arcane spirits known as Terragons. These eldritch horrors have been slumbering for ten thousand years, since they first attacked and shattered the civilization at the time, which were the ancient elves. To combat this, they created giant stone soldiers(of varying size) powered by magic and controlled by people. They called these goliaths "Axcellions" and waged war against the Terragons, and were successful until they were betrayed by one of their own and driven back, only to be defeated and their civilization and Axcellions lost to time. After this, the Terragons went back into slumber. The Axcellions used weapons as keys to summon and activate them. These weapons could be any sort, swords, battle axes, spears, even bows. They appear to be made from an dark green ore infused with stone, and inlaid with runic symbols. To activate it, the runes must be read aloud and taken to heart. If half the runes are read, a small mech appears to pilot(think the size of lagaan), and a full size mech appears(think gurren lagaan) when all the runes are read and understood. The weapons that summon the Axcellions are called Obelisks, and the Axcellion that is summoned by an obelisk will use that same weapon, but much larger and more powerful. That's what I have right now, I'll give more info and stuff and answer questions later on once I'm off work

I'm changing the way the Axcellion summoning is done in this. All an Obelisk wielder has to do is properly read and understand the script on their weapon once, and after that they can summon their Axcellion at will. But they must have a full stomach for it to work, as they feed off their energy. If the wielder gets hungry while in their Axcellion, it will depower and eventually disappear. If their stomach is only half full or whatever, then they'll only summon the smaller, "Lagann"-sized mech

Now, the text on all the obelisks is in the ancient elven language which only a select few living today can decipher through great effort. One of my characters will be a travelling Scrivener that will eventually help all the wielders decipher their obelisks fully. In this world a Scrivener is one who practices Scroll Magic, a type of magic where one can read and write magic scrolls, and reading one brings the magic into being, and casts the spell. In this process, the writing on the scroll disappears and all magic in it fades away.

the mechs are huge stone soldiers powered by magic and controlled by obelisk wielders. "mech" is just a word choice for the theme

so the story's gonna start with our characters stuck in a labor camp run by a group of bandits with the task of combing an ancient ruins site for valuable artifacts. One day, they'll come across my Scrivener character who wandered in to explore the ruins, unaware of bandit operation. He gets captured too, but soon after my main character will find the Obelisk Eternal in a deep underground chamber of the ruins. With the help of the scrivener, they decipher the first few lines of the script on the weapon, and summon the Axcellion, easily defeating the bandits and allowing their escape. Then the story will be your guys' characters finding their obelisks, deciphering them, piloting their Axcellions to fight Terragons and monsters, and just havin' a ball in general.

Clothing: Mostly tattered rags, a scarf-like shoulder cover, a rag-like tunic, and a short frayed skirt. She goes barefoot
Weapon: Obelisk Eternal(not acquired yet at the start of the story); a huge greatsword. It's a black blade with a greenish metallic tint to it, and a silver-colored steel-like trim around the edges of the blade. On one side is a block of text written in an ancient, undecipherable script. It's got a hole in the middle of the blade, above the text.
Special traits: Superhuman strength
Sexuality: Lesbian
Personality: Rambunctious, wild, and free-spirited. Sometimes too wild for her own good. She's a real scrapper when it comes to fighting, too; never giving up and attacking fiercely. She has poor personal hygiene, even before she was kidnapped by bandits and put into the labor camp, so it's not because of her situation. She hates taking baths, and often smells. When it comes down to it, though, she has real resolve and fighting spirit.

when you guys make your characters, they can use any weapon they want, and I'll come up with a design for their Obelisk, so just let me know.
