Lucy: Huh. Wait, why did you parents abandon you? In Esterloch, that's a crime. *gnaws on the tail of the now skeletal remains of the salmon*

Chris: So you're on a quest to find your parents. I'll help you Lyla.

Layla: In Virenni, it is a great honor for parents to give their babies to the Alumcury, so they may lead a life of higher learning and magical study. However, I do not suspect this is the case with me. In adolescence, the students are usually introduced to their parents, if at least for a little while. Chris gives Lucy two more fish.

Chris:You never know maybe.

Layla: Thank you. I just pray to Neurum that she has not yet ushered them into the night sky...*looks up at the stars, each one slowly coming into view as the sun sets*

Lucy: Stars? My mommy always used to tell me, the brightest ones were my family members all mooning me. Buncha jerks! *swats at the sky*

Chris:You can't give up Lyla.

Layla: Eh? i'm not giving up. If, gods forbid, I would find out they perished, I would cherish their memories. *looks at Lucy, and laughs a little* ^^U Eh heh...please, you might anger Neurum. *points at the rising moon, which is a crescent* She's quite irritable tonight.

Lucy: *stops swatting at the sky and stares at the moon* She's that thing? Well at least she's not my aunt Petunia. She's be like three of those.

Chris:When is she in a good mood?

Layla: *smiles* When the moon is full and round, and she gives us all restful sleep and pleasant dreams.

Chris: I see.

Lucy: When my aunt Petunia's full and...rounder, she flops to the ground and snores really loudly.

Chris chuckles.

(Layla is the first one up, and sitting on a high rock, cross-legged, praying to the rising sun)

Lucy: And gimme lots and lots of delicious fish. ^ ^ Morning Layla. Praying again?

Layla: *closes her eyes, and softly kisses the pendant, then puts it back into her robes* Yes. Good morning, Lucy. *smiles* did you sleep well?

Chris and crush stretch and join them

Lucy: Yeah. I dreamt I was eating the most gigantic salmon! *waves her arms at her sides* It was as big as I am! I wanted to taste it. Q.Q *stops flailing her arms*

Layla: Right. So my plan for today was to head to Geram, the easternmost human village of Virenni. So I am assuming you all want to travel with me?

Lucy: Yeah, sure. travel's way more fun in packs.

Buriza:Sure, why not? Traveling anywhere is just fine, better than staying around here.
