Eve(we're assuming Eve came with Jack and Lily): He's suffered a serious injury recently, which was the cause of that hole in his helmet. He's now suffering from amnesia, which has left him quite complacent.

On the way back to the base they start to get hungry. The windows of the van rolled do they smell the tantalizing aroma of delicious food. They pull into the Diner Parking lot and go inside.
