Annette: Just break through the fire and get out! ...Or better yet. Ice blast! *a strong gust of freezing wind hits the flames, freezing the bars while extinguishing them* And now.... Lightning saber! *a surge of energy jolts from the tip of her staff and turns into a concentrated whip of pure electrical energy as she swings the staff, shatter the ice and leaving a gaping opening in the bars before she leaps out and runs away* Come on everyone!

Annette: *gets out of the hut and finds guards with spears outside* Ah snickerdoodles.... Flare barrage! *bombards the guards with a flurry of small fire balls to break an opening in their formation and runs through the opening* I'm sure the others can handle the guards from there. I'd go and help but I have to run. I don't wanna get eaten, I'm too sweet to die! >,<

I think you guys misunderstood the size of Yoba's cage. It's pretty much just a small wooden-latticed box with Yoba stuffed inside.

(most of the Salamenders flee, but the armored ones stay to start whacking Annette and David with their sticks. Meanwhile, Yoba is limping out of the brig hut, holding herself, and covered in burn marks)

Annette: Ow, stop hitting me! *stops* Lightning barrier! *sends out an electric sphere that rapidly expands out of her body, repelling the attackers and launching them before she puts her hands on her knees and starts panting* That's my biggest spell.... Sure takes a lot out of me.
