One Piece: Side M

Lucie: Oh wow, that sounds amazing! A giant elephant.

Mark:Yeah. It sounds amazing.

Lucie: I wanna go there some day. Granted the government doesn't erase it some day.

Mark:Same here. But if they did that they would erase your people.

Lucie: That is true. Hopefully my being here would deter such a decision.

Mark: If I had to I'd try and save your island.

Lucie: I have no memory of it, sadly.

Marrk: Maybe not now. but if we make it there I will make sure you have good memories.

Lucie: Thanks, Mark. I hope we can have fun there some day.

Mark smiles and settles in for a nap.

Lucie settles down to read a book.

Marine: Mis Lucie there's another marine ship pulling along side. I'd wake captain Mark but you know how cranky he gets.

Lucie: Well what are they here for? Resupply?

Marine: That and *he brings out a huge hammer perfectly sized for Mark in human and hybrid form.* It took a while to get the balance just right.

Lucie: Ah. Did Crusher have that made for him?

the Marine nods.
Marine: How'd you two end up so close anyway? I hear he trusts you more than some of the ones ranked above you

Lucie: We just trained as cadets together is all.

Marine: I see. Still it's nice to see. I still hear stories about Axe hand morgan *shudder*

Lucie: I sometimes wonder where he ended up after his discharge. Jail, probably. *shrugs* Doesn't matter to me.

Marine: I'm still shocked how his son changed.

Lucie: Vice admiral Garp's one hell of a trainer. Would love to learn from him if I could.

Marine: Yeah but I hear he can be really tough. You know when Captain Mark is asleep he doesn't seem that scary.

Lucie: He's really not that scary. He's a friendly giant.

Mark:*waking up* But don;t let it get around. I Have a rep to protect.*stretching and shifting back to hybrid mode*

Lucie: Vice admiral Crusher got you a present, Mark. Hope you like it.
