Lore: Fantasy Shift

Marcus:Maybe it has a limited number of shots?

Solesch:Well don't let the laser discourage you.
Zera:Yeah sure, let's go. *runs toward the invisible thing*
Razer:Yay! I have an excuse to not fight! ^ ^

Fierce: Oh goodie. *runs after Zera*

Marcus follows and tries to take aim.

Gentle: Why'd he wanna follow them?
Sera: He's kinda new to the whole ranger thing.

Zera runs into the massive enemy and it quickly takes notice of him. As he starts to slash at it with Plague it bears down on him, driving him into the ground. Zera notices he's in what passes for its mouth and uses an explosive spell before teleporting above ground.

Zera:Well, I think I killed it.
Solesch:No, there's still some activity...

The ground starts to tremble and a few block's worth of area is uplifted as something rises from the ground before continuing its rampage.

Solesch:Whatever it is, all you seemed to do was damage an appendage of some kind.

Gentle: Do you think this thing bigger than Carnax?
Quartz: Quite possibly.

Zera:I hope there's not more than one of these things. >,>

Marcus:Don't jinx it. When people say shit like that it usually makes things worse.

Gentle: Doesn't matter. We'll still be in trouble if there's more than one.
Quartz: Just less time to save the world.

Zera:We really need to have a way of tracking it. Hitting it could be a bitch if it doesn't attack anything.

Fierce: yeah I know. Hm...
Gentle: A smell?
Quartz: Won't really do much.

Marcus:If it gave off body heat we could track it.

Zera:I was just in one of its damned mouths. It was just really wet. >,> No heat, no nothing.

Marcus:Shit.

Fierce: Now you know how women feel when you violate them.

Zera:Well girls are obviously into that sort of thing then. ^ ^
