Lore: The Dragon's Reign

Thousands of years ago, a powerful being known as the dragon emperor fought for total rule over Lore at the hands of the dragons and all their kindred, but he was locked away by the eight elemental lords. This was the first dragon war. Thousands of years have past and the dragon emperor, still alive, grew in power and fury. But his former allies went about their own ways, the drakels developed and became civilized, and the dragon emperor was pretty much forgotten. Now, the dragon emperor's prison broke completely as it was breaking over time for a few hundred years and the emperor broke free, the dragons all over Lore responding to his freedom almost instinctively, began to join together in all their numbers and attack everything that wasn't related to them.

Cities and towns fell by the dozens, the dragonslayer order was very busy trying to slay the rampaging dragons, but they were too much. The order was wiped out once the dragon emperor became involved. Soon, a new military unit that was privately funded and owned arose from seemingly nowhere, they were called the rose knights and as they had gained fame for slaying a hoard of dragons efficiently and with absolute precision, their ranks swelled over a matter of weeks. Finally, the last standing non-rose knight fortress set up in front of Starylus City hired the rose knights to take over defending the city.

A young man who appeared very feminine strode through the city of Starylus, his white hair tied in a ponytail bounced with every step. He appeared to be surveying his surroundings as he walked until a very small inumimi girl came up to him and saluted him.

Naomi: Captain Stride, the order to evacuate all civilians was successful. The city is completely empty as the head captain had ordered, sir.
Stride: Apparently a few specks of them are remaining indoors. I hope they know what's coming.
Naomi: We're well prepared for the incoming fire dragon assault, sir.
Stride: I guess it's good to be confident. Let's look around for any more people here.
Naomi: Yes sir.

Calvin:Hi Naomi.

Naomi: Hm? Hello.
Stride: You're a civilian, aren't you? You should have evacuated. We sent out the order.

Calvin:I missed the order. I was also looking for my brother.

Blossom runs up to them wearing cute but surprisingly effective armor, followed closely by his third wife Serena, one of the few dragons who didn't side with the emperor.
Blossom: We left as soon as we heard the alarm; when's the dragon due to arrive?

Naomi: Last ETA announced was in an hour.

Calvin: Blosson have you seen Marcus anywhere?

Blossom: Alright; have the civies been evacuated?

Naomi: As far as I know, they have.
Stride: If there's some remaining. let's hope they know what's coming for them.

Blossom: Well hopefully they'll be alright.

Auri teleports in holding a small brown teddy bear.
Naomi: Oh, captain Auri, you're squadron's here?
Auri: Yes. the head captain gave us the order to help you and the two other squadrons here in light of the incoming fleet of misbehaving dragons.

Calvin:Captain. my brother is missing.

Auri: I see. but that's not important now-

The screeching of hundreds of fire dragons arises as the fortress launches its shield generating canons to block most of the breath attacks from the oncoming attackers.

Stride: Came faster than we thought.

Calvin:Let's get out of here.

Auri: I have this, don't worry.
The air around them becomes extremely cold and the moisture in the air freezes and collects into a gigantic mass that create a towering golem made of solid ice than steps forward and smacks a dozen fire dragons right out of the sky.
Naomi: O.O
Auri: ^.^ Isn't it great? I learned it from Arcturus Battle.

Calvin:Wow.

Blossom: No time to be impressed, get out.

Stride: Yeah. We'll see how this thing can hold against them though.

A dragon begins falling from the sky, crashing and bringing five others with it, before they finally crash into the ground dozens of yards away from the others. There's a short fight there before the dragons that crashed are all cut up and dead. Zera rises up from the gore and looks around.

Zera:Aw damn, Starylus? I thought this was just a random group of dragons coming to burn down a town. *teleports to them* Hey, what's up girls? ^ ^

Auri: Oh, hello Zera.
Naomi: Hi?

Blossom: Hey Zera... >.>

Zera:Oh hi. Not sure if we've met yet other girl. Hi Auri, nice to see you again. ^ ^ So what's your name other girl? Oh, and hi Blossom. >,>

Stride: She's Naomi Battle. My subordinate.
Auri: Well what brings you here, Zera? Just chasing down dragons?

Zera:Naomi Battle, alright I see. Oh and yeah, pretty much. People aren't all clustered up in cities anymore, but dragons are all over the damned place so they're easy pickings.

Blossom: <.< Stay away from my sister....
