Fierce: Dunno. That's just what my father always called me, growing up. Name just stuck.

Jenghas: Okay, so who's the next recruit?

Lily: We'll need a cook! ^ ^
Jack: No, we still need pilots.
Lily: Fine. We'll get a pilot. *huffs her cheeks*
Fierce: Sounds alright with me.

Jenghas: We also need a Heavy specialist. A tank is always quite useful.

Jack: Yeah, I didn't think of that one.

Lily: You sure a heavy specialist would be around here.
Jack: Unless Eve can read thoughts from far away, my gut's telling me one's close.

Eve: I can only be near a person, so they can tell me things without speaking words.
Jenghas: Ehhh...you're quite melodramatic for a twelve-year-old...
Eve: I cannot sense mecha pilots, heavy specialization or otherwise, from a distance, no.

Jack: My gut's the one we're following then.
Lily: Fine.

Jenghas: I do know of one who might help us, but I heard he died. He was this mercenary for SMI, apparently the best, but after some failed mission, they killed him.

Jack: Steel Mallet, huh? Those guys cost me my military career.
Lily: So you don't like them?
Jack: Nope. They gave me an early retirement and a chance to raise my daughter.

Several hundred meters to a kilometer ahead of the van that the entire team is in a massive tank-like mech is driving in no particular direction.

Jenghas: Oh, there must be a pilot in that mech. Hahah! Turns out I'm better at sensing mech pilots then you are!
Eve: You wet the bed until you were nine.
Jenghas: ...... ._.

Jack: Well how the hell are we gonna stop that thing? Not like we have any megaphones.

The tank mech suddenly stops in its tracks and rotates its torso so that it, and all four of its weapons, face the van.

Jenghas: I'm gonna go knock. *gets out of the van, goes over to the mech, and knocks in its hull* HELLO?! Anyone in there?

A moment of silence before the pilot inside answers.
Pilot: Yeah? What do you want?

Jenghas: We'd like you to come out and talk to us, please! Better talk to us before the cops show up. Turns out, people don't like mechs milling around in the middle of an intersection!

Lily: Yeah, they're not exactly street legal.
Jack: What? They use 'em all the time in parades.
Lily: They're parades, dummy.

Pilot: Fine...
The hatch opens up and a young man with a huge hole smashed into the side of his helmet climbs out.
Pilot: Yes? You wanted to talk?

Jenghas: What's with your helmet?

Pilot: I.....I don't know. It was like this for as long as I can remember....

Jenghas: Why didn't you get a new one? ....eh, anyway, I think you should come with me. Some people in that van there have a proposition for you.

The mech pilot looks at Jenghas for a few seconds before shrugging.
Pilot: Sure. Why not? Name's Andrew, you?
