Intrepid Love: A Star Wars Story

Rika: I could tell from the ships that were overhead. Fortunately, they didn't notice anything and left. It's Rika, by the way.

Talin: You already said Rika. But they'll be back. I was hauling several crates of Spice when I escaped...

oops, forgot I already said her name....

Rika: Right, sorry, I got nervous. Anyway, why were you hauling spice crates?

Talin: So I could sell them! I need to go to the ship and...secure the spice...*clutches her abdomen in pain* Urk...

Rika: No, you stay there, I'll get it. If those guys come back, I'll just claim that you died in the crash.

Talin: Be careful! If they come back, hide! You don't want to mess with these people!

Rika: Relax, I can handle myself. You just focus on getting better. *Walks out*

Talin: *sighs, and lays down on the bed, quickly falling asleep*

Rika: Man, that girl seems pretty stubborn. Hmm... kinda cute too, it shouldn't be too bad if she decides to tag along when I leave this dump. *Steps outside and approaches the ship*

A bunch of those small, furry aliens from before, called Bolgs, are swarming around the ship
Niseen: Ha! Our ship now, leg-walker! Hahaha!

Rika: You know I saw it first, Niseen. I have right to claim whatever I want here.

Niseen: Bah! Scrim off, ye! Issours!
Multiple ships fly overhead, and start landing sequences outside the warehouse
Niseen: Uh-oh! Quasar Gang! We're off! *him and the other Bolgs scurry off back into their holes and trash piles*

Rika: Well, so much for this being easy.

The ships land, and multiple thuggish, rough aliens come out holding blaster rifles and such. So far, they haven't seen Rika.

Rika: Really hope that this'll work. *Steps out* Hey there, care to explain what you're all doing here?

gangster: No. Go away and forget you ever saw this.

Rika: Well hard to forget something when it crashed right outside where I lived.

gangster: That's it, kill the- *gets shot in the head by Talin, who's standing in the doorway clutching her abdomen*
The other gangsters start firing on the two, and Talin fires back

Rika: I told you to stay inside, you're too hurt to be doing this. *Draws her blaster and fires at a pair of the gangsters*

Talin: I need...to keep this...spice...I can buy a...new ship! Escape to the...inner planets! *gets shot again in the thigh, and doubles over* Urk!

Rika: *Shoots the gangster who shot Talin in her thigh* You can't do any of that if you're dead. Now stay in cover, I'll handle this.

Talin: *sighs, then fans her shirt out in the direction of the gangsters, making a pink mist waft over to them, and they stop firing and look around* Quick...grab some spice... we have to go...

Rika: Fine, but get away from this fight.
She runs over to the ship to grab a crate.

Talin: Don't worry, it's not much of a fight right now. I used my pheromones to calm them down.
gangster: Hey...stop that...
Talin: Now c'mon. Is there a back entrance or something?

Rika: Obviously there is. *Places a crate on a hover cart and runs into the warehouse*
