(crowns is the name of the currency, at least in civilized settlements like Denmos and Royal City)

Scarlett: ricewine, huh? can't go wrong with that. *crosses the gangplank and onto the dock* I drink Sour greenwine. I love apples...*smiles warmly at the thought*

Dax:65.

shopkeeper: Seventy, and I'll throw in..*goes behind his desk and produces a cut of twine from a drawer* A length of rope!

Dax:I make mine out of of my spiders silk.

shopkeeper: acourse yado. But this ee' ain't any normal rope, nee, this is GOLDEN rope! yeah, guaranteed unbreakable and unfrayable! Go ahead, feel it!

Dax:Alright.*gives him 70 crowns*

shopkeeper: Eh heh. you take good care of that rope then. *gives Dax the spool, then shuffles over to the wares, and hands him the jars of the huge grubs*

Dax carries them back to the ship meeting Scarlett.
Dax:Hey Scarlett. I managed to get some stuff for Venomfang.

Calvin: Well I guess we could do something nice for Scarlett and get her a bottle or two of sour greenwine.

Gerard: *laughs* Ooh no no no, she said it was an order..she gave us some crowns to get a few cases.

Calvin: A few CASES? I see. I suppose we should look out for them.

Gerard: I've tried that stuff...it tastes like garbage! I swear she's the only soul on Massetiah who enjoys that stuff...

Calvin: I guess so. But if it's still in production, other people must like it.

Jessica: Huh, green apple wine, okay then.

Scarlett: Oh, it's so good! I've yet to find another person who enjoys it though...

Gerard: I dunno. I hope so though, so I wouldn't feel as bad for her, she usually drinks alone...

Calvin: Well i've personally never tried it myself. I might enjoy it.

Dax puts the grubs away.

(an hour or so later, back on the ship)
Scarlett: I trust everyone did what they wanted to in the city, so let's set off!
(the zephyr lifts up and starts southward)
Gerard: Hey Dax, what's that string?

Calvin: So where to next? Any where in particular? Or are we just flying around aimlessly for now until we find something?

Dax:It came with the stuff I bought for Venomfang.*gives it to her*Why?

Scarlett: No, we're on our way south, past the Asharaani'ten Jungle.Then we're in between the Jade Sea and the Kalkreth Mountains, and it's pretty much a straight show southwest to the island of Mavarth, where the Order of Midnight is located.
Gerard: Um. Why did they give you twine with your feed?

Dax:The shopkeeper threw it in as a free gift.

Dax:I have no idea but he said it will never fray.
