Cole: Uh...She fell...And it kinda....Well, here she is now.

Valerica: She...fell. Very well. You two will die, she will come with me.

Cole: You'll have to pry her from the surprisingly strong grip of my cold, dead hands.

Ophelia: ...?

Valerica: "Surprisingly"?
Ophelia: A-anyway, what do you want with her?
Valerica: You don't even know her name, do you? It's been four hundred years since they turned Eliana's egg to stone to seal her away.

Cole: So her name is Eliana. Good to know, but we're still not handing her over to you.

Ophelia: How did you find us here, anyway?
Valerica: I tracked you to this city, and to your hotel. When I had you in my dark chains, I placed a tracker in your kimono.
Ophelia: Eh?! *her kimono shuffles, then a small vine comes out of it holding a small device with a red light* You fiend!
Valerica: You may as well surrender yourselves to me.
Ophelia: Never! *whips a medium-sized vine out of her kimono at Valerica*
Valerica shrugs off the damage and punches Ophelia into the wall

Cole: Hey! *punches Valerica*

Valerica: Is that all the strength you can muster? Come now, the little girl in the hoodie could punch harder than that. *whacks Cole with her parasol into a fence, then advances on Eliana* Now, princess. Let us-
Huge vines come out of the hole Cole got hit through and wraps around Valerica
Ophelia: Cole, zap her now!

Cole: Thunderbolt! *shoots a streak of lightning at Valerica*

Valerica: Rrgh..you peasants won't learn... *breaks free of the vines, and uses them to wrap up Coke, then flings him up onto the roof of the museum, then looks at Ophelia* it's about time you said hello to my dark chains...they missed you so. *conjures large chains made of dark energy and flings them at Ophelia but she counters with huge, thick roots that entangle themselves with the chains*
Ophelia: No you don't! I-
A huge explosion is heard from inside the museum
Ophelia: Eh? What was that?!

Cole: Rrrgh... I'm too weak. What was that sound though?

Meanwhile, Jax stands in shadow form around the blown up rubble that was once the room they were in, then reverts to normal
Jax: wow...hey Peeko, you okay?

Peeko: *sits up from a pile of rubble holding her head* Ugh, that was intense.

Karloff: *grabs Peeko's neck from behind* Indeed. Both are strong. Good fight. Sit and watch, ghost boy. If you move like shadow I will crush her.

Peeko: Eeeep! I knew I should've used hyperbeam on your sorry butt! >,< *tugs at Karloff's grip*

Jax: Peek, do you trust me?

Peeko: You keep trying to scare me so I only half trust you! >,<

Jax: That's good enough for me! I gotta get this just right...*shifts into his shadow form and phases over to Karloff*
Karloff: Shadow boy! I gave warning! *squeezes tight on Peeko's neck*
In the span of a few seconds, Jax clears the distance, phases up to behind Karloff, and uses the hypnosis technique, sending Karloff to sleep, and causing him to drop Peeko
Jax: Gah! *pants* I...I did it! I finally used a psychic technique! That was really damn hard!

Peeko: *holds her neck coughing* Oh geez. My life flashed before my eyes just then.

Jax: Sorry, but it was the only way. This guy must be having some nice, tasty dreams...too bad I don't know how to eat them yet.

Peeko: Oh, it's fine. It's not like you can hurt me with ghost stuff anyway.

Jax: Well I can try, dammit!

Peeko: Hehehe! ^ ^ *sticks her tongue out at Jax*

Jax: C'mon, let's go meet up with Ophelia and Cole!

Meanwhile, back when the explosion happened, Valerica takes advantage of the distraction, and wraps her chains around Ophelia's roots, then sends more out, speeding around the roots and right for Ophelia.

Cole: No! Ophelia! *shoots a yellow beam at Valerica*
