Ni:Maybe. I don't think anything else could've-

In the distance, screams and gun fire are heard. The muzzle flashes clearly seen in the darkness.

Ni:Hm. Maybe some people are still alive. Sounds like they were coming from the gax's den. I at least wanna be there to see it dead.

Ni runs up the road towards the cave and stops a few yards away. The outcome of the battle was uncertain, and those involved unfamiliar to her. It seemed that they were thieves based on their talks of "treasure" and "loot". She hid behind a tree as she could hear one screaming as he became the prey of the gax. Its presence was clear by how its skin glowed an eerie green in the night.

Bullets did nothing to it, the hide was too tough. The intruders fled and the monster gave chase. The corpses left behind were also clearly visible, as the acid was as luminescent as the predator was. Ni took a deep breath as the gax returned and drew her weapon, waiting for an opportune time to ambush it.

Yuki ran up behind Ni and drew a a purple wand with a yellow orb atop it.

Yuki: You're going to try and kill the gax, right?

Andrea: *Whispers as she silently approaches Ni from behind* That's it? *Readies the arrow*

Ni:Yep...that's it.

The creature begins devouring the flesh of its victims, burying its face into the holes its acid burned into them.

Ni:....guess this would be the time to attack it...

She creeps up to it and by happenstance it turns to her. There's a brief pause, and it roars, deafening everyone. Ni doesn't freeze up this time, swinging her axe into its mouth. The gax bites down and tries wrestling the weapon from her grasp, flinging it and Ni to the ground and leaving a bite mark in the axe.

Ni kicks the monster in the face before it has a chance to bite her and bashes it in the same area of its face with her shield as she recovers from the fling.

Yuki raised his wand and and after muttering an incantation under his breath, shot a small fireball from his wand at the Gax.

The spell stuns it and turns its attention to Yuki after a second of recovery.

Ni sweeps the beast's legs with her axe as it begins to charge at Yuki. She stomps onto it side and pins it as she swings axe into its neck. The part of the axe that was bitten breaks off upon contact with the neck.

Ni:Fuck.

In retaliation, it sprays acid at Ni who blocks most of it with her shield.

Yuki: Heh. *fires a bolt of lightning into the Gax's eyes* Take that, meanie!

It roars in pain, blasting Ni away from it and fleeing into the depth of the cave.

Ni:*rubs the back of her head* Ugh...what'd you do to it? Seemed to've really pissed it off.

Yuki: I tried to shoot it's mouth with a lightning bolt spell but I missed and hit it's eyes. Shoot.

Ni:Well it works. Wanna see if we can finish it off?

Yuki: it might be a little pissed off now, but sure. What's the worst a blind gax can do?

Andrea: A lot. I think I got something that can kill it quickly. We going to go in or wait until it runs back out?

What looks like a moglin in Martial artist robes with a bandaged tail ax kicks the Gax on the top of it's skull.

Max:Oh Yeah!!

OOC:nice try, but too random. ignored

Ni:Doubt it'd come back out. Looks like those guys made a camp in there so great for us.

Ni follows the tunnel to its end, where a hole leads deep into the earth.

Ni:On second though....I really don't wanna go down there. I think we should just seal this place up somehow.

Andrea: Do you really think it'd hold? This thing obviously dug the hole, it'd easily burrow out. >.>

Just assuming the traps followed her.

there's a rustling in the bushes near them And out walks a Yellow Moglin in Martial artists robes and it has a bandaged tail.

Ni:There's a reason it chose a cave. It could've come up anywhere, but a Cave is pretty convenient as a shelter. We close this up, I doubt it'd come up near the village again. Especially since everyone dead here now.

Damn it.

They see a Shadow as someone new enters the cave the Shadow is one of a moglin.
???:Is that thing gone?

Andrea: True...

Ni turns to the moglin and looks at the hole before looking back to him.

Ni:Yeah. Doubt it'll be coming back either. Hm. Nah. Our only option is to seal this place off. If we go down there, it'll have an advantage. Plus there's probably more down there.

Andrea: Yeah, that'll be bad. How many explosive arrows do you think we'd need to seal it off?

Max:Name's Max Gore. And I'm not really a moglin. I'm a Human that shapshifted into a moglin. And I can't change back into a human until my tail heals. One of the annoying glitches in the spell.

Ni:Well I'm sure we can find someone to heal you. And help you work out the kinks in your magic. Oh, and I dunno. Put however many you can spare along the cave and tell us when you're about to blow it up.

Max:So who are you guys?

Andrea: >.> That's the second reason I followed you in here. Hehe. :3
