Lore: Fantasy Shift

Arc: I sometimes buy books without noticing these things.
Mellow: Q.Q .....*rubs his forehead*

Jake:*hugs Mellow* Aw, don't be sad. ^ ^
Zera:What did you think it was?

Arc: Something on human sexuality.
Fierce: Well it was. ^ ^ *gets slapped by Arc* hey!
Arc: *take a new book from her book weapon and flips through it* Ah, here we are. *mutters in an archaic language and a door-shaped portal opens in front of them* Let's go everyone. *goes inside*

Zera:Finally. *goes in*
Razer:I think I'll stay here. ^ ^
Jake:>,> *follows*

Mellow: Wait for me! *goes in after Jake*
Lucky: Well I'll stay here with you, Makon. I'd rather not risk my life fighting that thing.

Marcus Chris and Sheila follow.

Razer:Yay! ^ ^

Zera:Hm. Haven't been here in a looong time.
Jake:Yeah, doubt anyone has.
Zera:I'd expect more here in terms of ethereal beings. Maybe that thing went on a killing spree here too.

Fierce: Funny, lily goes here to train sometimes.
Gentle: She does? Geez, she trains everywhere, doesn't she?
Akira: She needs to keep in shape for Zera, of course.
Fierce: yeah, forget she has a loving husband. >.> *looks around* Where's that flying weirdo? Probably dead knowing the thingy.

Marcus:What do you think it will look like?

Zera:*looks to Fierce* Husband? Me, right? Heh. Her real husband wouldn't even be able to satisfy a virgin. ^ ^ Pathetic.

A large root-like hand rises from the area ahead, blotting out what passes for a Sun there before beginning to slam down onto them. Zera fires a lance of magic through it where it would land on him. Jake maneuvers out of the way while firing a storm of ice shards at it. Celos fires globs of lava at it while X fires his laser, cutting through a couple of its fingers.

Arc restricts the hand in its current positions with hundreds of chains extending from the ground before lances of molten steel are fired through the hand.

Gentle; Damn, look at 'er go.
Fierce: Meh, she's just doing with everyone else is doing sis. no big deal.

Several tendrils rise from the ground around them and begin to strike, but X negates them all with a force field briefly to prepare everyone to counter attack.

Zera:Wow, loads of tentacles. An army's worth. >,>

The appendages' tips open to show triple-sided mouths full of small hook-teeth on all side before lunging at them again.

Fierce: Huh. *turns Fencer class*
Arc: Hmmmm... *puts her book in front of her*

Marcus shoots special arrows with buzz saw blades slicing the tendrils.

The tendrils fire energy at them and ram into the shortly after, biting at the group as well. Zera already ripping through them and using them to fire energy at each other.

Fierce slices at the tendrils and fires a few shots at the ones farther away from her.

Marcus :Is this part of it?*sets fire to the tendrils*

After a short time, they all retreat underground, and the ground begins to crumble beneath them as the creature's full mass rises from it. Eventually reaching the height of a large mountain.

Zera:Well holy shit....this thing's a lot taller than I thought it'd be.

Arc: ....Will this hurt it? *conjures a "mouth" of Earth filled with stalagmite "teeth" that instantly pop out of the ground on both sides of the beast before the "mouth lifts up and crunches the monster's midsection*

Marcus:Nice attack.

Zera:._.

The teeth make the monster flail around in pain with Zera stabbing Plague into its head to keep from being flung off. Jake creates an ice dome to prevent his falling off.

Marcus fires a volley of arrows at the beast.

Arc: What?
Fierce: You wanna kill Zera?
Arc: He seems perfectly fine to me.
