Lore Reboot: The Sequel

It has been about a month since the departure from their homeland, with Zera and Raiya arriving in Elridge. They draw the gaze of most of the folks there, due to their strange attire.

Zera:Hm...well, can you detect the energies of anyone we know? Any of the Battles? Maybe Marcus, and horrible as that would be?
Raiya:Well I certainly detect Marcus...
Zera:Dammit to hell!
Raiya:Heh. ^ ^ There's also Undolf and Elizabeth.
Zera:That's better. Some good news, yes. Let's visit them first. *follows Raiya to their home, and Raiya knocks of the door*
Raiya:...
Zera:I see you're more comfortable in your "prostitute clothes".
Raiya:>,> Shutup.
Zera:Wonder if they'll recognize you...

Elizabeth: *reading letters and hears the knocks* Hm? *gets up and answers the door* Yes? Oh my, you two are friends of my children! How wonderful of you to come by. ^ ^

Zera:Huh.
Raiya:^ ^ Yes. Um, me and my brother were wondering about where your children are? We understand they've probably moved out by now, so we'd like to know where they moved to? Zera, go get Marcus.
Zera:But that's so far down the road...
Raiya:Just do it.
Zera:*sighs* Fine. If I get rabies I'm killing you first. *goes off down the path heading to the forests*

Elizabeth: Oh, right. I have a letter specifically for you from Mellow, dear. He's become a royal commander of the Queen's army you know. *removes a letter from her cleavage and hands it to Raiya* it also had something a little hard in it as well. Don't quite know what it was. probably a little present just for you? ^ ^

Raiya:Hm? Present?.?

She opens the letter, reading through and investigating its contents, and becoming wide-eyed towards the end of the letter, which mentions the engagement ring that she found in it. She has tears of joy and wears a soft but radiant smile.

Raiya:Thank you so much Elizabeth. ^//^ He's remained committed to the idea of our marriage...amazing.

Meanwhile, Zera reaches Marcus' home.

Zera:Ugh...>,> She just had to send me...

Marcus:Hey Zera. How've ya been? *training some new pup*

Zera:I've been better...any chance you're ready for another adventure? Me and Raiya are setting out to hopefully regroup everyone. Y'know, Jenghas and all of the Battle's hot daughters and stuff.

Elizabeth: Oh my, he's going to marry you?
Undolf: *zips right up behind her and screams loud enough to blow the women's hair a bit* MARRIAGE?!
Elizabeth: Yes, Mellow is going to marry Raiya.
Undolf: He's gonna marry her eh. You two better gimme lots of grand kids. Fierce already gave us one.
Elizabeth: Honey, don't pressure her, she's had enough stress as is.

Marcus:Yeah I'm up for it. But Remus isn't. All he does these days are sleep and eat.

Raiya:^//^u I'm sure we'll have great grand kids, yes...well, thanks for everything. Well...seeya, I guess. Have a great day you two. *starts walking towards the path Zera took to go find Marcus*

Zera:Well that's unfortunate...I guess if you wanna go get your stuff together so we can head out. Oh, and for transportation we'll be taking one of those magic carriages like Auri used to make...say, where is she now? I assume you'd know?

Marcus:Yeah *gathering his stuff* She went to teach magic at the great hall of the magi.

Elizabeth: bye bye, Raiya. ^ ^
Undolf: Well how about that. We're gonna get a new daughter soon.

Zera:Huh...it sounds "big" but I guess I've been too busy being Raiya's memory to know anything about life outside politics...blegh.

Marcus:I miss her.*the puppy licks his cheek* Thanks R.j.

Zera:Well, you seem just about ready...
Raiya:Hey guys.
Zera:I think I heard Undolf yell...did he think you were a-
Raiya:That's getting old, shutup. Anyway, look like Marcus is coming. We're meeting Mellow first.
Zera:Eh, alright. Should be more than half-a-day's carriage ride. Yes Marcus the carriage Raiya conjures is pretty damned fast.

Marcus:Did they have any news on Auri?

Raiya:....oops.
Zera:Hm?
Raiya:I forgot to ask about everyone after I got Mellow's letter and the engagement ring....^ ^u
Zera:No matter. Marcus knows where she went, and we know Jenghas and Fierce probably headed to Rising Sun cuz of Jenghas being fingered as a murderer and stuff. What about Mellow?
Raiya:Apparently he's the Royal Commander of the Queen's army...
Zera:Sounds like a job best served near the Queen, in Elora.
Raiya:Alright, so we have a good idea of everyone's whereabouts! ^ ^ *conjures a wagon and goes into it*
Zera:....anyway Marcus, you live close enough, you should be up to date on Auri's life by way of her parents. *goes into the wagon as well*

Marcus:I know. But i Was so busy training R.J. And congrats Raiya*gets in With the new puppy*

Mellow: *writing something at a desk when he looks up and finds Gentle leaning over the desk watching him* Wah! What? Gentle, you've grown...there.
Gentle: No much, yeah, but...I just came to say hello. ^ ^
Mellow: How dd you get past everyone else?
Gentle: Just told 'em I was your sister. So you're the royal commander of the Queen's army eh? Sounds like a big job.
Mellow: I'm A royal commander. There's seven of us in total. Now, please, I'm busy.

The wagon starts to move, picking up speed until arriving at a steady speed.

Zera:Well, time to sleep. *lays back*
Raiya:Wow, falling into old habits already...*examines the ring closely before putting it on* It's so nice...

Mellow: I hope she got my letter though. Hopefully.
Gentle: What letter?
Mellow: Why are you still here?

Marcus:So what's it like being Magus?

Raiya:Well...lots of stress and stuff. Mostly people asking you for favors, sometimes I fight people to defend my title...really the hardest part was getting everyone to trust a female leader and making sure the other countries liked us, even after the stuff the former Magus pulled in the war. Like attacking Northend and Elro. I picked up a lot of heat because of that idiot Argus...

Marcus:I see. I'm kinda jealous. Most of our group has some fancy job or title. While I'm still Marcus the hunter.

Raiya:Eh, life's easier without a title. People ask so much of you for nothing in return, usually. Or you're compensated poorly. I just want to leave the Lazuli region forever and live with Mellow. *sighs*

So the carriage goes on its way and arrives at Elfondo after half a day of travel.

Zera:Damn this thing is fast...*gets out* Alright Marcus, you and Raiya look for Auri, I'm gonna go get drunk off my ass. *wanders off*
Raiya:*gets out of the wagon* Yeah, let's go find her Marcus. Kinda wonder if everyone will be able to join us if they're all so important...
