Peeko: Yeah, that would be weird.
Cole: Okay, so let's just get a map somewhere.

Jax: Look, it's late in the day. Let's just grab a drink and ask the local bartender what's up. They know everything! Then we can get a hotel room and go in the morning.
Ophelia: well I could use a good soak in a tub....

Peeko: Yeah, me too.

At the nearest hotel
Jax: Aw, I wanted to go to a-*sees a bar in the corner of the bottom floor* A bar! Yes! *sits down at the bar*
Ophelia: Alright, I guess a drink wouldn't hurt. *sits down next to Jax*
The bartender turns around, a cute redhead with short, bobbed hair
bartender: Woah, lookit you guys. You look like a group of shounen protagonists!

Peeko: I do?
Cole: Huh...Thanks?

Bartender: Well where's all the fanservice?
Jax: Pardon?
Bartender: You! *points at Ophelia* You should be bearing cleavage! And show more leg! And You! *points at Peeko* Take off your sweatshirt! I'm sure you're actually like hundreds of years old or something!
Ophelia: *blushes* I... I really don't think this is necessary..

Peeko: Well...If you say so. *unzips her hoodie revealing her sport bra underneath*
Cole: Hey, you didn't need to actually take that off.

(a manager comes around and ushers the bartender out, and leads a new one out)
manager: So sorry, we'll fix that fourth wall for you right away.
Jax: Eh?.?
Ophelia: Peeko, zip up your hoodie...also, why aren't you wearing an undershirt?

Peeko: Um...I was warm... >.>
Cole: Why not just wear a shirt?
Peeko: Don't make such a big deal of it! >,< *puts her hoodie back on*

Jax: Well anyway, how about some shots?
Ophelia: I am not sure that's a good idea...

Peeko: Yeah, sure.
Cole: Really?
Peeko: Hey, a drink wouldn't hurt.

The bartender puts down two shots, for Jax and Peeko, of a dark red alcohol
bartender: This here is Cinder Fire Whiskey. A staple here in Cindervale.
Jax: Aw, yeah! *slams the shot, and burps out a small fireball* WOAH! That shit's hot!

Peeko: Oh my..Maybe not.
Cole: Hey, you're the one that wanted it. Now drink it!
Peeko: Okay fine! *slams down the shot* Agh! Too hot! >,<

Jax: Barkeep! More shots!
Ophelia: This can't end well...
The bartender puts more shots down in front of Jax and Peeko

Peeko: Please, I'm not a fire type, my throat and sinuses can't handle anymore.
Cole: Quit being a girl.
Peeko: I AM a girl! >,< *slams the shot*

Jax: Ahh, it's not that bad, it's *urp* not that bad! ....^///^ Seven more shots, please!

Peeko: it does taste pretty good.

Jax: Gah! Wait, you like this stuff? Okay that's enough for you. *downs his and Peeko's shot*
Ophelia: I think that should be enough for the both of you.

Peeko: Says you.
Cole: Well, I'm not about to carry my drunk friend.

Jax: Psh, I'm not even drunk!
Ophelia: He was talking about Peeko.
Jax: Eh? Oh...So what, Cole, are you and Peeko bumpin' uglies er what?
Ophelia: Jax!

Cole: No! I'd never do that with her!
Peeko: Well, why not?
Cole: Please, you're like a sister to me.

Ophelia: Really, Jax. Weve been over this.
Jax: Oh really? Well then Ophelia, you and Cole should-
Ophelia: *sleep powders Jax* Bed time, brother.

Cole: Well I'd...*blushes*...I'd just like to get to know Ophelia a little better first is all. *shrugs*
Peeko: Huh. So you are into her.
Cole: N-No! >//<

Ophelia: I think We should be going to bed. *helps Jax up* Good night, guys.
Later that night, a slender, young-looking girl in a dark ballgown, holding a parasol, ( [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] ) strolls up to the check-in counter, ascertains the locations of our heroes(Ophelia and Jax in one room, Cole and Peeko in the one next to it) and slowly, seriously, and sinisterly makes her way up to their rooms. Before her, the door to Ophelia and Jax's room opens, and she walks inside.
???: *sees Ophelia in her bed* Dark grasp. *holds her hand out to Ophelia, and closes it in a fist, enclosing Ophelia in shadowy chains that cause her immense pain*
Ophelia: AUGH! Wha-...who are you-AAH!
Jax shadow sneaks behind the mysterious girl, but she notices immediately, and slams him in the stomach with her parasol, knocking him through the wall into Cole and Peeko's room.
Jax: Ow.....

Peeko: Yeep!
Cole: *gets out of his bed* Jax! What's going on?
