Cole: *the barb bounces off of his chest* Was that the best you could do?

Yancey: Eh? What type are you? To resist my poison attack, you must be either steel or rock type...well I know what to do with you chumps...*turns and runs in the other direction* See ya later, suckers! *flaunts Cole's wallet as he runs*

Cole: Hey! You get back here! *throws magnets at Yancey that explode on him*

The explosions knock him out cold immediately, and both Cole and Ophelia's wallet land next to him

Peeko: Hey, he swiped your wallet too!
Cole: You just NOW noticed that?

Later that evening, in Ophelia's Apothecary in Jadepetal Town
Ophelia: Jax, you really should stop scaring people, or at least try to come up with less frightful pranks.
Jax: But scaring people is really fun! You should try it some time.
Ophelia: I hardly have the time, Jax. Running this shop is hard enough when I also have your messes to clean up. *sets her basket down, and feels around her kimono for her money purse* ...that's strange...I seem to have lost my purse...oh, it's probably lost in the forest...
Jax: Eh? Oh come on....I told you to secure that thing better.

Peeko: *comes in holding Ophelia's purse* Uh...Hello? Ophelia?

Ophelia: Ah, Peeko! I...where did you get that?

Peeko: Some bug creep swiped it off of you when you weren't looking, I guess. I wanted to give it back to you. *hands Ophelia her purse* Well, Cole wanted to, but he had to run an errand.

Ophelia: Oh? And who's Cole?

Peeko: He helped get your purse back! ^ ^ Because...He also had to save me from being mugged... >.> Cole's my friend. Real nice steel and electric type guy.

Ophelia: ah. Well it's a shame he isn't here, I'd love to thank him personally.

Peeko: Yeah, he's a great guy like that.

Ophelia: Well now, would you like some tea?

Meanwhile, at the produce market, a man with a huge beetle horn clad in steel armor walks up to Cole
???: Were you the ruffian who attacked my brother earlier in the forest?

Peeko: Yes, of course! I'm so thirsty right now.

Cole: *examining a radish* Yeah, what of it?

???: *takes the radish, take a huge bite of it, and tosses it aside* No one messes with the Kubota family! *punched Cole in the chest with vigor*

Cole: *slides back from the force and hunches over as a crowd starts to form, then looks up menacingly before his hand glow briefly before firing a mirror shot at the man*

Kubota: Heh. That won't hurt me. I'm steel type too! *draws a sword* This might even be fun! *opens his mouth and shoots a web that covers up Cole, then slashes at him*

Cole: *blocks the slash with his forearms before rapid spinning out of the webbing and tackling him* I guess we'll both have a little fun then.

Kubota: *knocks Cole back, then brandishes his sword, using Swords Dance* Die! *slashes Cole across the chest, then kicks him where he slashes him*

Produce clerk: Geez, someone call for some help over here!
Cole: Urgh! *takes the hits before calling down a bolt of lightning on Kubota*

The bolt hits Kubota's horn, which acts as a lightningrod
Kubota: You'd better give up, punk! *horn drills Cole and launches him up in the air, throwing him in the direction of the apothecary, of course unknown to them*

Cole: Urk! *falls through the apothecary roof and coughs up blood* Gah!
Peeko: Oh, Cole! How nice of you to drop by.
Cole: I'm not having your stupid jokes, Peeko, I was in a fight.

Jax: Holy crap a flying type!
Ophelia: My roof! Who is this person?!

Cole: Kubota. He's the brother of the guy that tried to mug Peeko. *gets help up by her* He's also a steel type.
Peeko: I know a fighting type move! Lemme at 'im!
Cole: No! You'll get hurt!
