Poke-shounen story(The actual!)

(Rissa dodges the beam, then runs after Cole and Ophelia)
Jax: That's the last time you get to bite my sister! *hops out of Cole's shadow at Rissa, hits her with a few jabs, and looks at her in such a way that his face darkens, and his eyes and large grin light up, making him take on a frightful appearance*
Rissa: Ah! No! That's so scary!
Jax: Addie, now! The beam thingie!

Addie: Right! *shoots another pink beam at Rissa*

Rissa: Yow! *jumps up in the air* Why you...that really hurt! 
Jax: Yess! Now buzz off! *summons a ball of shadows in his hands, then shoots it at Rissa* 
Rissa: Nyergh! *flies up in the air* I'll be back...And don't think you can just waltz up Vannick Mountain! No one's ever scaled it! The storms make it unclimbable! *buzzes away into the canopy*

Cole: You think you can heal Ophelia?
Addie: I'm sure I could. Don't worry.

Ophelia: *tries to sit up, but stumbles back down, with blood pouring out of the wound on her shoulder* Please...hurry...it's a deep wound....and I'm...extremely weak to bugs...
Jax: Oh no...no no you're going to be alright, Ophelia! Hang in there!
Akane's muffled voice: Yeah you can do it...

Addie: Don't worry, I'll fix you right up. *her hands start glowing with pink energy and start slowly closing Ophelia's wound*

Ophelia: Thank you, Addie...*exhales* I think I'm going to rest here a bit...
Akane's muffled voice: Yeah, you take all the time you need!
Ophelia: =.= And Cole, could you get Akane out of there?

Cole: Alright then. *sets Ophelia down gently before going to Akane and stripping off the webbing*

Akane: Ah! *hugs Cole tightly* My hero! Even though she had to tell you to do it...>,>

Cole: Sorry, I was gonna get you out eventually.

Akane: Uh-huh...*wipes off most of webbing* Will Ophelia be okay? 
Ophelia: *drinks one of her potions from her bag* This will help the internal bleeding...ugh...*stands up, grasping her shoulder*

Cole: If only I could have helped better. *sighs*

Ophelia: Don't worry, Cole. It's fine. 
Jax: Hey...whatever happened to that Aria kid? 
Aria: I've been here all along, just kinda quiet is all. 

(later that day, they arrive at the mountain)

Cole: *sighs with content* Finally here. Phew. *puts his hands on his knees and pants*

Ophelia: Now we just have to climb it...
Akane: On it! I'll just fly up there! *turns her arms into wings, and flies up*
(Immediately as she starts to fly up, storm clouds rapidly appear, and lightning strikes Akane, who falls to the ground, knocked out)
Ophelia: Akane, no! *rushes over to her* Hm...she'll be alright...

Addie: I can patch her up just fine. But that lightning was something else there.
Cole: Well that's the answer to why no one climbed it before.

Jax: Don't worry...*rubs his hands together* I'll make short work of this mountain! *starts to climb up using all the vines and plants*
(The stormclouds start to rain, making the terrain slick and slippery, causing Jax to slip down to the ground, and after several attempts at this, he gives up in a huff)
Jax: I hate mountains...

Cole: Hmmm... You guys think there might be someone up there looking down at us?

Ophelia: Well if there is, they're guarding the stone bracelet. 
Jax: You think it's one of the king's artifacts?

Cole: Considering all that's happened, I'd say so. No one would wanna protect something else this badly.

Ophelia: *observes the sun shining above the stormclouds surrounding the mountain, and notices that it's leaving faint shadows on the foliage* Jax...when you use shadows to travel, how big do they have to be? 
Jax: Um...well they can't be small. And they can't be so big like cloud shadows, where they're really faint. They'd have to be like people's shadows in direct sunlight.

Cole: Do you have an idea, Ophelia?
Addie: If only there were a way to cancel the storms the whatever up there bring about. *pouts*

Ophelia: Hmm...*strokes her chin* 
Jax: Isn't there some technique that fire and grass types have been known to do where they can make the sunlight more intense?  
Akane: Ugh...*rubs her back* my head...

Cole: Probably, but would that work at all?

Ophelia: If I knew that move, I would try it. It may be our one hope. 
Akane: Oh! I know that move! I think...
