Pokemon: Amethyst Redux

(Open on Mew flying through the clouds, up in the air, twirling around and blinking through spheres of psychic energy, then flying off into the distance, then pan down to a shot of Recipe Town, the hometown of Pokemon Professor Mahogany, and of our heroes. They gather now at Mahogany's lab, to receive their starter Pokemon and begin their adventure. A boy with a black shirt, and dark blue jeans, and a cape walks up to the lab, and sees a sleeping girl right outside the door)
???: ....hello?
Lia: zzzzz....Oh! [name]! What're you doing here?
name: Don't you know? Today is the day we get our first Pokemon. Where is everyone else?
Lia: ....*giggles* I dunno..

A boy with blonde hair and a weird hat runs up to the two.

Riley: Hey guys! Came here as fast as I could. How are you two?

Lia: Hungry. e.e you got any food?
Danny: Lia, don't you keep food in your pants all the time?
Lia: Huh? ...*rifles through her pockets, and pulls out a bag of chips* WOAH!

A young brunette girl with hair tied in a ponytail approaches the group from the same direction that Riley came from with a rather friendly smile.
Aki: Hey everybody, you just as excited about getting your first pokemon as I am? ^^

Danny: Very. What pokemon do you think she'll have for us?
Lia: I hope they're ones with food...

Riley: Well I'm just excited to get Blubba a new friend. I've also studied hard about the different types and I think I'd like a flying type.

Danny: Flying type, huh? Never thought you were one for playing around with feathers...*looks down at the ground*

The door to Mahogany's lab opens up and the professor herself, an extremely attractive young woman peeks out and smiles when she sees the young trainers.
Mahogany: Oh good, you're all here. Come in, come in.
Aki nods excitedly as the young trainer rather excitedly walks into the lab.

Riley: Okay! ^ ^ *follows Aki inside*

Danny: Professor! What kind of Pokemon do you have for us? *follows Aki in*
Lia: Pokemon? We aren't getting snacks?.? *goes in the lab*

Another brunette girl runs into the lab.

Serena:*Winded* Sorry I'm Late Professor.

....

Mahogany: Late? You're not late. Come in.

Riley: Yeah, you're right on time. So what do we have here? *looks at all the starters* Wow, there's the starters from the Kanto that I heard about. Cute.

Danny: So we can choose any of these?
Lia: I want this one! *picks up Bulbasaur's ball*

Serena:Cool.*picks up the Charmander's ball.*

Riley: Could I have a flying pokemon somewhere, professor?

Danny: I'd prefer a dragon-type though. I need to live up to my father's skill!

Serena:Who was your dad?

Mahogany: Oh sure, new trainers are always allowed special requests from me.
Professor Mahogany gives a rather cute smile as she opens two compartments in the wall with pokeballs of labeled with various flying and dragon types inside each of them.
Aki: Oh what to choose? *Looks among the various pokeballs*

Danny: My father is Lance, of the Kanto Elite Four, which, regrettably, walked the path of evil. I need to match his skill and erase his mistakes! Professor, do you have a Dratini?

Riley: This will be exciting. ^ ^ I can't wait to go around the region and explore everything. Maybe I can finally have a talk with my dad, too? I dunno.

Mahogany: Well go ahead and choose your pokemon then. ^^

Danny: Ah! *finds Dratini's ball, and sends him out* Nice to meet you, Dratini!

Riley: *goes up to a starly* Wow, this one looks cute. ^ ^ I'll take it.

Lia: Hmm..I'm gonna call you...Guy...*pats her Bulbasaur on the head*
Danny: Name? It's got a name.
Lia: I'm nicknaming it?
Danny: Nickname?.?
