Pokemon: Age of Steel

Maya: I know. It's weird.

Black mage: Hm. I see.
Nuwa: Huh. Well take us to your humble home, i guess.

~Later~

Black mage; Here is my home. *leads them through a door into a carved out cave home that's modestly furnished with old tables and chair, but with crates and barrels functioning more as chairs around the area* I mostly had to steal some of my furnishings from above. it wasn't easy getting tables and chairs down here though.

Jerro: It's....quaint...but why have you lived down here so long? The rockets have only just started their attacks.

black mage: I've been on the run from them for years now.
Nuwa: Hm. So they've been laying low up until now?

Jerro: I dunno. Hey uh....Black...mage...person? What path do you use to get up into the city secretly? I need to run an errand.

Black mage: It's in my store room. *leads him to an alcove filled with more crates and a rock covering a hole in the ceiling where a ladder has been carved out* Just up that ladder.

Jerro: Right. Tomorrow morning, I'm going up to find a new rapier. And maybe do some reconnaissance. And get some breakfast. And some booze......

Nuwa: Good. We'll need alcohol to treat any wound.

Maya: I'm not sure he means to treat wounds... u>.>

(the next morning)
Jerro: Right. I think it's best if only one or two of us go up to the surface, without our Pokemon. Smaller numbers means a smaller chance of getting detected.

Black mage: Very well. You go on ahead.

Maya: I'm not so sure I should go....

Jerro: Well then. Nuwa, you want to come with? It's not that I'm scared of going alone! I just think two heads are better than one.

Nuwa: Why me?
Black mage: because you seem to be physically, the strongest.

Jerro: Oi!
(Rogue slaps the back of Jerro's thigh with his leek)
Jerro: *looks down at himself, then back at BM* oh. well...fine.

Black mage: Sorry, was that offensive to you?
Nuwa: Fine I'll head up then. *goes into the store room*

Maya, after hesitating for quite a bit, walks after Nuwa.
Maya: I'm coming too.

Jerro: Really? Might be dangerous.

Maya: I know.... *Gulps* But I'm still going.

(on the surface, the gang slinks into an alleyway from the hatch to the sewers. Jerro peeks over the corner of the nearest building, looking at the street, and observes Guild soldiers making their rounds, with no citizens to be found)
Jerro: Alright, looks like Steel Street. There should be some weapon shops here...we'll need to get to the rooftops, though.

Maya: Lead the way. *Gets close behind Jerro*
